  • another fucking class song, screw the fucking X-factor this is the way forard, even though it is 20+ years old.

  • Best Punk band ever.

  • The part where she sings "where you were I always go...hear your voice on the radio" is one of the sexiest things ever recorded.

  • Rezillos have been one of my fav bands since the 70s!!! Rock on!!

  • excelente banda....

  • isn't fay fife the most beautiful person you have ever seen on stage?

  • fuckin a come back ma girl i miss you

  • Great and gorgeous !

    Always sharp! always hysterical !

Beyond cool! Fay Fife wherever ye be, more power to yer elbow!

  • More like Wilma with a Betty wig. Rezillos ROCK!

  • thums up if your like what the fuck when u were watching the green day mix!

  • when the song starts does anyone besides me remembers pinhead and carbona not glue from the ramones?

  • Is Fay Fife the only singer to sing with a Scottish accent?

  • @NigeTelly YOU FORGOT ALEX!

  • DESTINATION PENIS!

  • aka Scottish Cocaine Abusers from Uranus

  • fuckin cosmic,

  • In 'the good old days' nobody liked the rezillos much either, as I recall. I spent so much time trying to persuade 'punks' that these guys were the future of rock'n'roll. Time wasted, generally.

  • God... so underrated.

  • is that conan obrien

  • This Video Captures the very Fucking essence of punk rock. I love it :D

  • @PirateSukai your definition of punk is way off then. i love this song but its not punk, its new wave.

  • @dilkydik211 You must be a teenager.

  • @dilkydik211 AsK 10 people what is New Wave you get 10 answers. "New Wave" was originally named to make punk rock sound less threatening. By '78-'79 it meant the experimental and pop side of punk. By 82 in the US(not UK) it meant most any new act be it, Post punk,alternative/indie and especially Synthpop/New Romantic "Second British Invasion" bands. People still are arguing over it.. As for me Rezillos were punk transitioning into New Wave and great no matter what you call them.

  • The Chick in the fred flintstone outfit is obviously as high as a kite....I like her....

  • Don't luv Faye for her pouting lips, don't luv Faye for her curvey hips......anyone?

  • @63punkaddict I love her 'cause she does good sculptures

  • @Telstar62a yeah !

  • very nice to see Betty Rubble working again . . . LMFAO!

  • Wow i saw a green day video and now im here.... this song is great anyways!

  • I had no idea Conan O'Brien was in The Rezillos.

  • @LTandDS LOL - he's a very diverse guy, is he not?

  • is so great look she moving everytime

  • best song by the rezillos?

  • 2:26 lol spaz attack

  • what a kick ass performance

  • reminds me of the the misfits

  • my dad was fay fife's roommate when she was just starting off with the rezillos

  • Steve Wright = SMUG CUNT. REZILLOS = LEGENDS! FAY FIFE = PURE SEX!

  • Better than the Sex Pistols

  • This Video deserves much more than a thousnd views...

Million salute to the one who uploaded this vid.

  • well radge!

  • This is just superb. Rhythm and tempo are both as tight as anything.

  • Still the best band to come out of Scotland.Top class!

  • @trunk39able you must be having a laugh

  • Faye Fyffe,s a cow

  • @FreedomSaoirse why ?

  • @kenfig Thats punk rock man..Shes still a cow fuck

  • Comment removed

  • @FreedomSaoirse Idiot

  • @potaluca She needs treatment....Heroin Addict she was..I should know....I shagged her, shes still a cow lol Faye Ffyffe needs help

  • @FreedomSaoirse Are you serious? Faye was my childhood crush. I need to know the truth about both bits. H addict? Nah way!!

  • conan o'brien??? :DDD

  • Is it just me or does the singer looks exactly like Conan O'Brien.

  • @magoelise hahahaha! totally!!!!!

  • Well said Mr. Yontz

  • If bands want to sound as good as "the good old days" all they have to do is play good music instead of wimpy, commercial shit.

  • @ChrisYonts alot of bands these day play stuff that isnt wimpy commercial shit and is better then the old stuff. you just havnt heard it because your old xD

  • @heinzie5 Very true. I remember when all the music that I loved and my Dad hated, like Hawkwind or Deep Purple got moved from BBC Radio 1 to Radio 2....from teen to middle aged lol :-)

I find new music these days in places like bandcamp....there's a new wave of singer/songwriters who are every bit as good as Nick Drake or Judee Sill, but they don't get played on the TV or terrestrial radio..

  • I seen these guys in Frisco about ten years ago.

  • I wish bands could write 'em like this these days.

  • They're seem to be somewhat like a Scottish counterpart of The B-52's.

  • B-52's had nothing on Rezillos. Rezillos were, and still are one of the loudest and most slammin live bands around. They're everything that Pop, Punk, Rock and Metal should be all in one. Pure fun.

  • I like how the drummer gets up from his kit while the drums on the tape are clearly still playing. I guess it was no secret that Top of the Pops was faked.

  • some of the more credible/cynical/capable bands used to do stuff to demonstrate they were miming - to show scorn for being told to play along. For instance tin machine's guitarist took fistfuls of pasta out of his pocket and spread it on the guitar instead of miming his solo...

  • que coloridos, y su musica muy nice

  • Great stuff. Love em. Gotta see em. Keep missing their gigs

  • Acts like this put revivalist danceable fun back into rock music in the late 70s.

  • Me encanta TODO en este vídeo, y especialmente el tupé y las gafas del cantante. :-)

  • art school

  • damn, conan o'brien rocks!

  • I'd rather say power-pop band than punk but it's a really good rock'n'roll band

  • Classic Punk Band from the 70s !!! The Rezillos are F.A.B.

  • I love the Flintstones slam in the beginning. Love Scotland!

  • Always great to hear and see a band from Scotland ...............

  • Great punk/new wave timepiece. Eventually a MoAM? cover in Surf Rock format in the 90s.

  • It's really cool to see Conan O'brian's humble beginnings. Who would of thought that he was such a talented singer and in an original punk band no less! Nice day-glo outfit there Conan, cheers!

  • conan o'brian? how so

  • That is Conan O'brian singing the male lead, isn't it? Sure looks like him. Anyone?

  • No, it's not but they do look alike.

  • Eugene Reynold

    Fay Fife

Luke Warm aka Jo Callais (later of the Human league)

    Other inc

Simon Templar ,HiFi Harris, William Mysterious, Gayle Warning, D.K Smythe, Angel Paterson.

Saw them a few times back in the day. Fuckin magic.

Last 2 gigs Edinburgh 23Dec78 and Glasgow 24 Dec78 (the live album 'Mission accomplished but the beat goes on')

Think i've a broken drum stick thrown into the crowd from the Edinburgh gig in a box somewhere. Cant believe its fuckin 30 years ago

    shit i feel old

  • @gabbahfc Aahh.. Jo Callais, the songwriter

  • and you know how Conan dances and then "cuts the strings"? -- well, this guy ties his own willy in a knot at 1:35

  • hahahahah the string dance

  • An American band, Man or Astroman?, recorded several versions of this song; all of which were great, but nothing beats the original.

  • I had record's

Never saw em' on the tele

  • When and where do we get the full version of this excellent tune?

  • had this on 7" in 78,30 years on and it still sounds fresh and fantastic

  • I have this track on 7" single, but cannot find it anywhere on CD :(

    Help!

  • its on the Rezilloz- Cant Stand the Rezillos CD

  • Fay Fife, yummy. No.48 in the charts?.

  • Only just discovered these guys on TOTP2.

Theyre awesome! And the female lead singer is really good looking!

Im 14 I wish i was born 25 years earlier...

  • well i wish i was you ... i was born 30 years earlier and i saw the rezillos the damned and others... you really had to be there to understand the impact this stuff had on the establishment! there has been nothing like it since and possibly never will

  • Who cares if this is a bit " Gay?" The b52s have made a career out of it and they are still going strong, so have many other bands - Songs a belter, used to have this as a single on a tape ( rememeber them)with Top Of The Pops as the A-side.

  • Written by John Callis - the left handed guitarist in the kilt - who went on to join the Human League and write Don't you want me.

    I knew he was good.

  • Wish Steve Wright would shut his trap at the start with his pathetic attempts at jokes.

I had a crush on Faye and Gayle when I was 14.

  • she still looks hot.

  • she certainly does, especially with that dress on ;-)

  • I saw em live at rebellion festival, one word: amazing.

  • when and where was that mate. only saw them once, at manchester apollo in 1978. awesome.

  • ah i wasn't lucky enough to see them back then, considering i wasn't born for another ten years...

but i saw them in august this year, i recorded some of it, but the sound quality is shit and the camera is terribly shakey.

  • Must go and see them if they're playing live again. Good to see you appreciate brilliant music that was before you was born.

  • old punk is the best

  • conan

  • they changed their name to revillos because the guitarist left!

  • bought their first single in 77!

  • div ten meemwaakkwaa

  • the lead guy singer at some angles reminded me of conan o'brien.

  • ..or like the guy from Guitar Wolf

  • Totally and utterly magnificent!! Long live the Rez/villos. Superbamente!!

  • BRILLIANT!

  • ROCK'N'ROLL EXCELLENCE NUFF SAID

  • that's fuckin' great!

  • Just absolutely fucking fantastic. That's all you need to know really...

  • how old was faye here i saw them in the russel club manchester in 1983/4 and she looked stunning

  • what you saw was the revillos the original band split in 1979/80

  • 最高 verygood

  • well after all these years shes finally still here

my ex used to do their fan mag in Edinburgh faye we never got on maybe because as i told you once .annie lennox was better and she hated annie lennox.......long story

  • cualquier parecido a B52 es conincidencia.

  • lol, that's funny, cause i don't think they pretty much the same thing, still the b-52's are my favourite band, and i also love the rezillos

  • like her dress lol. ma mate the other day was sayin how fit he thot she was. lol. anaways. you rock!! lol

  • Yes you are.

  • The guitarist is Jo Callis later of The Human League, if I am correct. Am I?

  • Karen-O from the yeah yeah yeahs looks so much like Fife! also style.

  • Faye Fife, hotter than a thermal vent...sigh

  • hey i am glad all over.. rezillos 4 ever.

  • Fay Fife Yeh she was a babe where is she nowadays anyone know?

  • They're still playing...and Fay Fife still looks amazing. I don't know how she does it.

  • What a beautiful woman!

  • Babe of the century...and still cute!

  • Yeah that chick in yellow is so hot!

  • OK sunshine we sott register those fingernails on the sexual offenders list. Yes, it's official.

  • Faye I still love you! Come back, all is forgiven....

  • amazing

  • is it me or does the male singer look like Conan O'Brian with shades?

  • You've got Faye here in front of you and you're fixated on Conan O'Brien?

  • sh1t fay was and is a babe

  • God help me, I was desperately in love with Fay Fife in 1977 and here I am 30 years later, an old man approaching 50, and she still sends shivers down my spine. And the music's tremendous, too!

  • sh1t fay was and is a babe. and she loves a pint of cider before she goes on stage

  • songwriter/guitar later joined human league and wrote their better hits.

  • Bollocks. REzillos were far better.

  • Great track. Knew the bandname already in '78 but apart from songs on compilations I unfortunately never found their records here in Belgium.

  • Seen the Rezillos in Manchester when I was 13. Had a crush on Fay Fife and Gayle Warning. God Bless you all. You Tube is fcuking brilliant.

  • thanks for showing this rodsbilly my old mate. saw her when i was 14 and never forgot the great performance she put into the gig. We could do with a bit more of this in the charts these days. God bless you Fay Fife and bless you too rods. Up the jocks!!

  • It was this clip which got me into loving song...but Steve Wright messes up a perfectly good joke. It was Wilma Flinstone who wore that type of outfit. Betty Rubble wore the blue thing.

  • Wilma wore white. That dress is modeled after Fred Flintsone's attire...

    Either way, nice clip.

  • I love the rezillos, Thanks for uploading this.
