I tried the warlock and absolutely hated it, i just don't like the spells or ANYTHING. I've never been past level 24 though so I can't say much. But i love my mage and LOVE my level 24 hunter. My other character, a night elf level 24 druid I somewhat liked, but got bored with after a while. p.s. HORDE PWNS LOL, THE NIGHT ELF IS MY ONE AND ONLY ALLY AND ITS GETTING A FACTION CHANGE AFTER THE CATACLYSM PATCH.

warlocks is just a basic spell casting class. if u want a warlock that has a big advantage over most class i would suggest demonology, just cause the only 2 class u'll EVER have a problem with is a rogues and priest. destruction warlocks is a GREAT built for pvp, but a destruction warlock can only fight 1 person at once and also has a HUGE disadvantage over druids,shamans,priest,rogues, and paladins. and lastly a affliction warlock is ONLY and ONLY good for grinding and leveling.
awesome review man, i appreciate your honesty. i have to agree with you 100% that if the soul shards would just freakin' stack it would be so much better. regardless, i love the warlock class, i only got him up to level 12 so far but it's such a nice change from a pally in my opinion. just more moves and the DOT's are cool. i think warlocks are easier to level than mages though, just from the fact that you have a minion helping you out. anyway, you have a new subsciber :]
warlocks are problay one of the most noobest classes in WoW, unless ur under lvl 40. But warlocks are great for both soloing and grinding and also PVP. just grab fear and death coil and shadow ball it and fear it and repeat it and you can kill anyone thats at least 5 levels high then u
if soul shards stacked tht would be awesome they do take up alot of space but i do think the imps a good demon (but im a destro lock so my imp gets empowered ) cos he does good dps in dungeons rather than a tank pet who might over pull plus when u get to higher levels your pet gets new spells
in cataclysm shards go bye bye :) demons dont require...the soul shards act like dk runes. you get 3 shards a fight with drain soul regenning them. IM SO HAPPY

i dont think level 20 is enough to judge a class since you only have 11 talent points at that level so you havent even touched the higer end of the talent tree, a affliction or demon warlock can solo nearly any thing a pally could quite easy and then desturtion some of the best DPS in the game , admitly at the begining a warlock a bit anoying but lets not forget some nice buffs from the imp and Felhunter and other helpfull spells a lot of raids like at least 1 lock E.G COE in EOE on 25man
warlock isnt just a caster, its a caster that does MOST dmg with his casts. much like a rogue except the one that doesnt get owned by everyone except the one target that you rape from behind.
warlock can do much more damage output than any other caster class, perhaps not enough ccs, though if you're destro you should be able to manage that.

it is too hard to get epics as a lock... you like struggle to do heroics but youre never good enough... lock is bad because you cant have increased spelldamage and boosted spells at the same time and its too vulnerable at pvp coz almost every class can fuck off the fear...

classes are what you make of them i play a lock and love it but some people hate it..and regardless of what you say playing lock does take skill..knowing what curse to place on which monster/human....what summon to use(stuff like that)..and stop putting this guy down he is awesome.....we love u man
all classes take skill, just a different kind of skill in knowing what to use OP or not. Fear fear fear or not, knowing how to get outa that fear and what to use on that lock befor the next OP fear comes takes skill, same with the opposite effect if you were playing a lock.

Warlocks are my favorite class. They are not only good DPS in PVE but are great PVP characters because with fear, DoT's and a pet, they are beasts. One thing is just to know how to play it 'cause if you don't then you won't like it. It's actually pretty easy to play.
I was playing a warlock, I have to agree that warlocks are more boring now at 80 in pvp since they are major nerfed.. But in bc it was soooo awesome and I really enjoyed 70.
20 isn't a really good level to test warlocks ... now with the new we\rath talents, i'd say 60 for all classes then if u dont like it ok, but warlocks are a lot of fun at 80

Immolate-chaosbolt-conflag-incarnate-shadowburn. the 2 last is optional
1. the talent gives 10-15% more dmg when you got immolate up on the target (chaos, incarnate etc) then its the global CD
you wana cast conflag just after a casting spell, so you dont lose time because of global CD

it is too hard to get epics as a lock... you like struggle to do heroics but youre never good enough... lock is bad because you cant have increased spelldamage and boosted spells at the same time and its too vulnerable at pvp coz almost every class can fuck off the fear...

classes are what you make of them i play a lock and love it but some people hate it..and regardless of what you say playing lock does take skill..knowing what curse to place on which monster/human....what summon to use(stuff like that)..and stop putting this guy down he is awesome.....we love u man

all classes take skill, just a different kind of skill in knowing what to use OP or not. Fear fear fear or not, knowing how to get outa that fear and what to use on that lock befor the next OP fear comes takes skill, same with the opposite effect if you were playing a lock.

i have a lvl 40 mage and i got tired of dying so damn much so, my friend suggested me to play a lock cuz they dont die ALOT! lol so i started it like an hour ago and he is at lvl... almost 10 i think. alot of people are putting warlocks down but i kinda like em. i was wondering what other peoples oppinions are like and if they think it is ow worth while to make a warlock or any other classes...? anyone's oppinion?

Warlocks are my favorite class. They are not only good DPS in PVE but are great PVP characters because with fear, DoT's and a pet, they are beasts. One thing is just to know how to play it 'cause if you don't then you won't like it. It's actually pretty easy to play.

I was playing a warlock, I have to agree that warlocks are more boring now at 80 in pvp since they are major nerfed.. But in bc it was soooo awesome and I really enjoyed 70.

20 isn't a really good level to test warlocks ... now with the new we\rath talents, i'd say 60 for all classes then if u dont like it ok, but warlocks are a lot of fun at 80

i hate the warlock there crap i dont realy jnow much about them cos iv only got to 10 and i was so board of them that i quit playing her then, they get less mana than any other caster and have very little health. in my oppinion the only good caster is the mage mine is lvl 72 i dont play with him i think the best class is the pally, so much damage! (and healing) !!
