doing them yourself is great cause it saves you money (i was payin $80 every month for a wash and retwist) but it gets old after awhile and you get lazy with it.

i was horrible my first twist tho. when i tried to twist it, it looked worse then if i woulda just never twisted it lol

what up, I have the same hair as you. Don't be doubting your hair, mine was soft and curly the first 3 months, then they just took off and locked up. Stop washing your hair without at stocking cap. Put a stocking cap on your head and wash thru the cap. You see, your hair is too soft to wash without it, it stops the locking process when you wash without one. Do that for 2 months and watch the difference. Check out my video and it will help you get an idea. Hit me up if you got questions

Good point you made, about how you feel your loctician was not doing her job properly. It's sad that people have these experiences because we feel that locticians are different from other hairstylists because we think they actually care about our hair. But in reality some are no different to regular hairstylists; some are even regular hairstylists, they just do locs as well. Theyre there for the custom, nothing more. All they do is twist your hair. It's not rocket science. Good luck with it.

i got love for the locticians...but some of them be scheming 4real...just to make money. but your products are on point...usually u can find alot of products at the beauty supply stores in the hood depending on where u at. and ive even seen rite aid or cvs carry some jml products. but i hope everything works out for u man...good job on the first try.
