Great idea. I noticed with your storage containers they used to contain sodium I think it said hydroxide. How do you clean out a used container like that so it doesn't leach what ever it had in there back in to your water? I bought a used food grade 50 gallon barrel the other day from a farm supply place and want to clean it out to use it for water storage in the garage.
@ysrfreak87 They were already clean when I got them, but that didn't make me not take the time to rinse them well. A friend borrowed them, and scrubbed them extra well with baking soda, water and a brush. That seemed to work very nicely, with no fumes, risks of damage, and was very affordable.
