I cannot speak of Imperialism, as the US is NOT an imperialistic country. If the US were an imperialist country, the governments of Cuba and Venezuela (for instance) would be overthrown in a day. I can speak of capitalism, anyway, which I don't like bc human nature is not noble and ppl take advantage of the system to become greedy and evil. I believe in Socialism based on freedom and on some characteristics of capitalism, such as the open market economy. I like the Euro system.

Yes aside from Operation Northwoods and the thousands of acts of sabotage and internal skirmishes they provoked in order to undermine and overthrow Cuba, which they candidly admitted in the document that they had failed, the failed invasion of Playa Giron, and the trade embargo which Eisenhower's cabinet admitted was intented to undermine Cuba, you are right.
