  • Just think paperbacklou, people will be saying the same about you in another 30+ years.

  • @avatar1964 so your saying in a mere 30 years we will all be dead? wow, ill only be 53, what a shame.

  • Awesome, happy people drinking a wee bit and being very naughty. change the clothing and this could be a college kidsparty.

  • Hope they enjoyed life. They are all dead now.

  • @paperbacklou not necessarily, many people from that time period are still with us. just old.

  • Amazing!

LOL at the "beautiful" scenery shots in glorious black & white.

  • From the film it looks like people were having fun enjoying the company of others. The person filming had to have money to own a moving picture camera.

I wish things were a simple today as back then. I like this film. It shows me how it might have been for my gradparents.

  • These folks were actually rather rowdy.^_^ Booze and possible 'smoking out', certainly could have been behind some of that. They look like they had the money for such a good time anyway.

  • I love these old films. Which is why I subscribed to tvdays.

  • welcome

  • Nice footage, though a bit misleading in this video's title. There was no footage of the stock market crash. Still, it's a nice slice of Americana of the early 1930's.
