@JadednBitter Hardly. Lambiel screwed up big time in the SP, whereas Lindemann gave an amazing performance. Their performances in the LP were on the same level, although I'd give a slight edge to Lindemann there anyway because I actually preferred his choreography a little. Lambiel's programs were never choreographically BRILLIANT until 2006.

I always come back to this performance. Great music wonderfully interpreted by a fantastic skater. He has a tight compact body with height and spring in his jumps and fleet footwork. Definitely has his own style and excitement, but is very reminiscent of Scott Hamilton, Paul Wylie, and Elvis Stojko.
Lambiel was robbed of 3rd place by this dwarf.

This was a great skate, but what a complete and utter FIX. The Germans bought this medal. Lambiel was so screwed over. JOKE

I remember watching Stefan at these championships and loving that he managed to do so well at home.

Stefan has my favorite quad-triple combo of any male skater, and that triple axel out of the spread eagle is one for the books. So high and clean.
StewNWT 4 years ago
Very, very good. It's too bad that he never had the same kind of life in his performances any time after this.
Zuranthium 4 years ago
I'm actually kinda pissed he didn't do better than bronze after that performance - definitely deserved to beat Lambiel.
StewNWT 4 years ago
Lambiel was 4th, so he did beat him.

This SHOULD have beaten Joubert who was put in 2nd, though. Stefan's SP and LP were both better than Joubert's.

yeah sorry that's what I meant, absolutely
