  • I LOVE this ellicia and mitch, you are an amazing couple and ellicia i look up to so much for my own dancing. ive been working on my flexibility so much since you taught the workshop in canberra.. i absolutely cannot wait to see you perform LIVE at the bachata fest in a week! I'm so so pumped for your workshop :D chloe from kokoloco.x

  • TOCA MADERA by Tokamadera from the album AMOR PASION Y CALOR

  • thanks by MAX el maestro of TOKAMADERA ..... Green Garage label & publishing

  • great performance and sexy routine.. but its not bachata and song is not bachata.. im surprised that this is the 2nd place in bachata championship.. im sorry to say that but its a great performance.. 90% tango and 10 % bachata.. nothing else.. you guys r talented no doubt but lucky enough to get the 2nd place..

  • @blakn8 Thanks for your comment. Just wanted to say a couple of things....firstly the song is an actual 'Bachatango' song, which means it has both the tango influence as well as the bachata influence. The song is called 'Tokamadera' by Tokamadera. If you look them up you will find out more about their music. Secondly, there is nothing in our Australain competition that says you can only do ONE particular style of Bachata for the comp thats why our routine was excepted.

  • @blakn8 Thirdly, there is plenty of bachata in it. Bachatango is a fusion of 2 styles! the traditional bachata step is the 'step, step, step, hip', the tango influence makes that hip into something else like a leg flick, kick etc. I feel you need to know a little bit more about both styles and even more about the style of bachatango before you say it has 10% bachata in it. Remember, like any dance style, Bachata has evolved since it began, if it hapdn't it would be pretty boring. :)

  • @Elliciadancer i agree.. hips or kicks.. what i mean is there is tango more than bachata.. bachatango is a nice style but for bachata competition there should be more bachata in ur dance.. im not judging u.. just im telling what i personally feel.. good luck guys for next championship and wish u win the next championship n wish u good luck...

  • Such a sexy routine, I LOVE it! Something that is difficult about mixing these two is when to move the hips (in bachata) and when to keep them still (in tango). Beautiful choreography & excellent execution!

  • The dancing here doesn't look like bachata at all and the music doesn't sound like bachata. It's very nice dancing, it just doesn't seem to be bachata.

  • Amazing!!!

  • Brilliant lines
