i have this c.d. its called live in the x-lounge II made in b'ham alabama...given away as prizes at the radio station or purchased at local blockbuster...limited run of either 5,000 or 10,000 copies...cant remember now...the best acoustical performances by fuel, train, black crowes, etc....probably still available at amazon

this song came out in 98 when i was 13 and was my favorite song, and i don't think I knew the meaning. I'm 25 and it's still my favorite song and amazingly enough my original CD isn't scratched lol. This song and Innocent are excellent acoustic. Fantastic job Brett. The new lead is exceptional, Torid?, sorry. But nothing beats a Bret song!

The first time I heard this version, I was on a road trip in the summer of 2007. My friends and I were driving through West Texas, and besides Willie and Waylon's old hits, there was absolutely nothing on the radio. Then I found a random alternative station on the dial, and this song was playing. Let's just say that it made driving through the hot hell of the desert a lot more enjoyable.

Brett Is Back as Lead in FUEL...Saw the show APril 3rd. New band members are Yogi on lead (Buck Cherry, Chris Cornell Band), Brad Stewart (Shinedown, Society Red, Amaru) and the drummer who I cannot remember for the life of me were all great. They had a whole new stage presence, and Carl gave them the rights to tour as FUEL!!!!!! All our complaining about Toryn worked!

I just saw Re-Fueled in Towson, MD on 10/1/09. They were freakin AWESOME!!! I highly recomend checking out Brett's MySpace page for updates and new concert dates. They recorded Live at the X Lounge in Birmingham, AL. This is the 3rd Live at the X Lounge CD, I believe. I agree with most of you, this version is better. Different to record in front of 100 people in a Lounge session than in a studio though

Yeah, but the guy who composed everything here was Carl Bell, so their other project might end up sounding totally different from Fuel. I don't know, I prefer not putting my hopes on that project...I don't want to have any big disappointment like i had with angels & devils.

It was never officially released, this is taken from their performance at 'cold live at the chaperl' when they toured Australia, i think in 1999, i know because i recall watching the program and just being blown away by how awesome it was. ^^
