@darrylportelli All OD's will hiss and feedback if used with the gain maxed out on the amps distortion channel. SO when doing this (if your amp has a lot of gain and you just want to push it a little) Use the OD pedal as a clean booster, Level maxed and just a bit of gain (maybe 9 oclock or 10) Tone to like. This way you'll get the gain boost with controlable feedback .

hola man te acuerdas de mi soy el que me compre un jcm tsl 60 ya tengo varias cadenas de pedales como unos 4 y empiezo a notar que mete un poco de hum el ampli es normal eso?

Hola, bueno eso es obvio, a manera de que divides la senal (con los pedales) se anade la posibilidad de traer mas ruido a la senal. Tambien pedales de gain, como distorciones, OD, compresors hasta los mismo wahs, traen ruido pues amplifican el ruido ya existente. La pregunta es can molestoso es ese ruido... Si es algo grabe, consigue un boss noise supressor y n todos los pedales de gain en el loop de este pedal. Eso limpia mi senal sin problemas. Pero se es normal.

tambien tienes que diferenciar entre ruido o hum... El HUM o conocido como 60hz cycle hum es causado por algunos pedales, Es normal pero en algunos casos es demasiado molestoso. Mi solucion, es conecta tus pedales uno a uno hasta que encuentres el que causa el HUM.

En este demo lo estoy usando a modo de overdrive o boost a lo Randy Rhoads en el canal de distorcion del Marshall. tengo otro demo usandolo en el canal de clean del Marshall 900/ Honestamente, es un buen pedal pero no mi favorito como overdrive pues prefiero el BOSS SD-1 cuando uso mi JCM800 y el WYLDE overdrive con mi 900...

El od que te da el Distortion + es mas vintage, o sea no muy tight, es mas "loose" o sucio/ Para solos es muy bueno, para ritmos los otros 2 que mencione son mas limpios

jeje, thanx bro... they are simple to build. Try the wylde OD MXR in my opinion the best od for a 4100 marshall with 6l6. I have a JCM800 2203 with EL34, with that amp, the BOSS super overdrive its best.

you can't compare them, the Distortion+ is a vintage unit, it sound dirtier and more blown (I dont know if that makes sense), The Wylde OD sounds really tight. It doesn't change the tone of the 900, and it adds to it, more punch, without making it muddy , the DIstortion+ can make it muddy. But honestly when I use the Wylde OD in my JCM800 I prefer the BOSS super OD. GO figure jeje. I found it makes the 800 trebly. So I dont knon, But for the 900 I prefer the Wylde, simply make the amp fuller.
