  • The fact that this very scene in 24 evokes so many emotional reactions is fantastic. I think that's what the writers really wanted to achieve. I cried when Ryan was about to die. I could not have decided that if I were the president. A life is life for me not matter how many. Chappelle was a good man in the end always. I felt so infinitely sorry for him. It's hard to believe how Jack can cope with that burden. Chappelle should have told everyone that he was onto finding Saunder's daughter.

  • anyone know the music that plays when he shoots him?

  • yes i would have chosen to let chappel live, and still work on finding saunders before the deadline, considering chappel was the closest on his trail. If they didnt kill chappel, he would have found sauders' daughter and could have used her to stop the terrorist demands.

But instead they murdered chapel which only delayed finding saunders' daughter..... which is the ONLY way to stop saunders.

  • wtf is shit? im looking for the REAL scene, not this crap.

  • Good job very close to the real execution

  • favorite parts :37 "alright ryan we gotta do this....get on your knees" and 1:57 "dead" guy breaking his fall by stretching out his arms

  • R.i.p Chappelle. I have seen seasons 4-8 but never 1 2 and 3 but i have seen 2 now im at episode 18 on netflix and i see chappelle die and i just lost it. Great season just horrible thing that david palmer had the balls to execute chappelle just sad.

  • Jack Bauer is a piece of hypocrite shit. He starts aping shit when somebody touches his daughter but he has the right to kill Chappelle. How can you be friend with David Palmer anyways? He's a democrat who clearly doesn't know what he's doing.

  • im sorry just there's nothing to compare to the acting of when it actually happend

  • Almost real...

  • Watching this just reminds me how brilliant an actor Kiefer Sutherland is. You cannot teach the kind of skill the man has. Fair dues to you guys for trying, but this isn't good acting. Sorry.

  • the acting isnt good but the lines are spot on, there's no emotion, y'all coulda done it better

  • if any police or security seen you filming this you'd have been screwed haha and probably have armed police swarming around

  • That was just a heart-breaking, sad scene in the series. And then in the 8th season, the president is willing to sacrifice half of New York to save the president of IRK.

Ryan Chappelle's death just seems (at least in retrospect) stupid and pointless.

  • some of the worst acting....evar!!

  • yeah i'm agree 100% with princepersia1. it's not only sad but it's seems too stupid and unreal to me

  • Why not ramp up the odds and ACTUALLY kill him. EPIC twist

  • Is the real version of this anywhere on you tube?!

  • A million people's lives aren't worth more than one persons. That episode and killing was unjustified, the President can't kill someone because he thinks it's for the greater good. Why should Chappelle have to sacrifice himself for others. If I was Chappelle I would have called Division, THE MEDIA, LAPD and I would have told everyone in CTU, then let's see Palmer try shit, dumb motherfucker.

  • @princepersia1 I agree with you! it was so sad!

  • @princepersia1 you are an idiot. dont watch 24 anymore. this is how it works.

  • @princepersia1 And that is why you're not in charge of national security. So what you're saying is, if you taking a bullet would save the lives of millons of people and your loved ones, you wouldn't do it?

  • @princepersia1 You're absolutely right. That dumb n*gger Palmer reminds me of Obama. They're both obviously not in control of the country. When you have to listen to a TERRORIST's order and you're the President of the U.S.A, you're a fkg disgrace to the people who voted for you.

  • AMEN!! Somebody who knows what to do should step in cos these days it's little bitches running the show.

  • @princepersia1 I agree!!!

  • @princepersia1 First off let me state the obvious by calling you a retard. Saunders had 11 vials of a virus (excluding the vial that cause devastation at ChandlerPlaza Hotel where 950 + died). The concept of utilitarianism; that is "the right course of action is the one that maximises the overall "good" consequences of the action"; in this case the execution of Ryan Chappelle to save millions of lives was wholly justifiable in a situation/question which is unimaginable for the leader of country.

  • @princepersia1 Also you're a pussy. Running away isn't the answer nor is going to the following: Division, LAPD, FBI, CIA would all side with the president's decision. Don't think Saunders would be happy if Chappelle went to the Media and said 'help! help! President Palmer is sanctioning my execution and it isn't fair'. Dumbass.. that was the only obvious choice after they were unable to locate Saunders. God it's people like you and your 8 other gaytubers that ruin YouTube.

  • "The United States does not negotiate with terrorists" ENOUGH SAID. First off I never said CIA, I said LAPD, the media and a humanitarian organization, after that they CAN'T kill Chappelle because of the fuss it would cause in the media and the population, do you really think people would elect a President who will happily kill one of their own on the orders of a terrorist? Secondly, Palmer covered up his ex-wife's case, how fucking righteous. He abused his authority and murdered Chappelle.

  • @princepersia1 What else could have Palmer have done? Saunders had him in the corner and there were no outs; even Bauer reprented when Chappelle asked him before he executed him. Yes that is the ethos of the US Goverment in terms of national security. But is it worth sacrificing one person to save millions of lives? Yes. Out of curiousity what would LAPD/Media do? You cannot question/second guess the judgement made by President Palmer in this case...

  • @princepersia1 Happily kill one of his own? Wow. now I know I'm talking to an ignorant person, I'm done with you.

  • @princepersia1 So you would rather he didn't kill Chappelle (who was willing to die) with one quick shot, and instead let millions of people die slow painful deaths by the virus?

  • @JamieHowitt Saunders was going to release it anyway, it's irrelevant, that's what you don't get. The point is NO NEGOTIATION WITH TERRORISTS, all you can do it try to find them, it's not like Steven was going to just give up after they kill Ryan. "One quick shot" I can't believe you said that, what about Ryan's life, or is he just a mathematical value that makes sense more to terminate for the good of the higher number. I bet you're an Atheist, I can bet all my money on it, tell me I'm wrong???

  • @princepersia1 That's what I think you're forgetting: If they didn't kill Chappelle, Saunders would immediately release the virus. If they did kill him, they'd have time to find Saunders before he did it.

Add onto that the fact that Chappelle has the right to decide his own fate, and chose to die.

And no, I'm not an athiest :)

  • @JamieHowitt what a load of bull, no matter what the situation you DO NOT go an execute one of your own. Murering chapel only delayed the inevitable. This is such a bull shit scenario which would never happen, seriously fuck the writers of 24 for making this scene. So now you have executed one of your own at the terrorist demand, so where does the line stop? next he tells you to murder your own family to save others, that justified too? next thing your just a serial killer president

  • @ace2044 So you would have chosen to let Saunders live at the cost of millions of people dying? Even though Saunders wants to die to save all their lives?

    That's what I don't understand. :)

  • @princepersia1 you're in denial if you don't think thousands of lives are not more valuable than one..

I mean...who the fuck holds a gun like that.

  • @kenjilepb HAHAHAH terrible directed. dude its made by 3 guys hahahahahhaha what do u expect

  • I'm not even going to watch this.

I'm just gonna' pretend I didn't see the title.

Thanks for ruiining it for me though, cheers...prick!

  • That's not how I would execute someone.

  • theres more to acting that just saying the words lol wheres the emotion?

  • this is really not too shabby. nice work

  • wow... this blows

  • Lame. The real 24 scene is much better.

  • i wanna cry

  • It's called ACTING, but nice try.

  • I always kinda hated Chappelle from season 1 and 2, but this part finally made me feel sorry for him. Any other show woulda saved him at the last minute - but not 24. A really hard hitting scene - one of the best of the first 3 seasons (I've only seen through season 3 - watching 4 right now).

  • I couldn't have said it better

  • Oh no. They killed Ryan!!

  • You bastards!!

  • This music is awesome....

  • homosss

  • lol that sucked

  • The best thing about this remake was the location. you guys did an ok job however i was disappointed at how wooden your dialog was. Good work guys love the show and i can see u do as well!!!

  • God damit it wont load wtf

  • Very nicely done

  • Pretty good. What is that song that is playing.

  • It's "Jack's Revenge At LA Docks" from S1. One of my favourite pieces of Sean Callery music

  • u guys got the lines good. maybe a little more emotion, though
