Iceland-one of the world's wealthiest countries?! Not any more. Argentina held that title in the earlier part of last century. They became indebted and now look at where they've been lately. Let this serve as a lesson to US households and govt.

i was in iceland this september and i was amazed how cool and friendly and well-educated icelanders are . i feel sad about what happened but im sure with a human capital as rich and creative as theirs , they will get over it soon

About the only good thing Israel is for right now to me is that because of it there will be Al Jazeera religiously motivated to show me how screwed up my country is without much of a hidden agenda behind their excellent reporting.

Israel has suffered from Hamas vermin who choose to use grade schools as launch pads for Israeli-bound rockets, and to the UN refugee agency that turns a blind eye to it long enough.
