i have a question man. you started it with biped, or did you modeled a poly prism?I am rlly interested. I am a little bit noob at 3d max at the moment, but i want to learn, thx
can you explain a little about what's going on under the 'presets' rollout please, the one you open at 2:55. i assume that there's a wire param, or reaction manager connected to all the other controls you already show at this point... but how is this part specifically set up? what happens when you move the slider up or down without hitting 'reset all'? can you tweak all the controls after using one of the presets?
i have more questions but i guess i should hold off for now, haha
I used the PEN attribute holder. It 'records' the values of spinners/sliders below it in the stack. You CAN tweak the controls whilst using the presets. A very cool script.
Is the "driven morph method" the same as setting two states on the vertexs and then blending between them? (Don't use max so not sure of the terminology). Did you do an animation with this rig in the end, do you have link for it?

can you tell me full details on how you did this ? from what i understand the process goes like this:
you create basic low poly shapes in 3ds max, you export them and import to zbrush, edit them, create high poly detailed models and export them again as maps, import them in 3ds max again and then create rigs and add textures...
is this all/any of this right or what am i missing ?
@JustXCeeD hahaha, full details, huh? what else? :P
Yeah, you outlined the process well enough. the rig seems pretty simple, but you can't expect the guy to give you a whole tutorial on this you tube page... check out tutorials on modeling or rigging to learn more, there must be gazillions of them. (btw, amazing, my firefox spell checker considers gazillion a real word. hahaha.)
@octavianmihailescu faza e ca eu sunt incepator, incerc sa invat 3d modeling si ma uit la tutoriale dar nu am cui sa pun intrebari sau sa cer ajutor. un ID de mess, ceva ?
he just used the movement with options he didnt make animation with 3D VIDEO ... not so good and armour moves when u move his face or any other part all parts move together..

Hi,
I'm interested on your 3D animations published on Youtube.
I'm looking to make a movie. I'm from Italy.
Would you be available to make a 3D elf for my movie?
If it's possibile reply.

My honest opinion. Looks more like an Ogre then an Ork. Too long face.

Great facial rig! Looks much more fluid and much easier to use then the one we were taught at Uni.
Are there any written tutorials on how to achieve this type of facial rig?
