@ClubPwn You should have seen what my rifle did to the last wolf I shot. I used the ballistic tip that explodes when it hits. Guts everywhere but it wasn't quite dead so I shot it in the head with my. .45 with a big smile on my face.
nice shot brothaman. dont pay attention to the people who have negative comments on here. they obviously dont know the devastating effects that comes along with wolves. wolves are devastating the deer population over here in michigan's upper peninsula and i can not wait until a season opens!
The key here is proper management of each species of animal depending on your region. I see so many butthurt comments from people crying over wolf predation- just because you have low elk numbers in your area doesn't mean that elk numbers are being destroyed everywhere.
We must also take into consideration the historical numbers of elk when wolves were naturally present compared to when wolves were extirpated from that region.

I had too many coyotes run away after shooting them with a 223 Mini-14. I had one run away after hitting it and knocking it out with a 44Mag, I use a 308 or a 300WM now,,, lol..
@Electromag50 all you shown me is that your savage......i love coyotes once you have owned a coydog you have more respect for them they keep prey populatoins down thhier here to help you not harm you
That's a beautiful wolf. Great for a first! I'd love to go out on a wolf hunt some day, maybe once I get the heck outta Michigan and it's legal to have a wolf pelt.
