  • the soft version you've got is the original and the best in my opinion

  • i love these products.

I LOVE HOW YOU SUPPORT YOU OWN AS WELL.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

  • Whats better African Black Soap or Ultra Glow Black Soap. And where can i buy this version of African Black Soap online

  • i have been using this product for almost a month now... i have to say i absolutely hate it! you are soo right about the drying part... i have sensitive skin and it drys my skin soo bad... my skin became flaky, red, and itchy. i have to constantly reapply moisturizer through out the day just to calm down the burning.

  • informative, short, snappy and sweet...... 10/10

  • I like that this African Black Soap comes in a tub and is like a paste. Where can I purchase it in USA, San Francisco Bay Area? I've googled it and can only find the hard soap versions. Thx! 4 any 411.

  • i have this version of this soap and i bought it for my mom and i to use, and i have to say it makes our skin really soft and very very clean. i have noticed that my pores are shrinking. this version of black soap works for us. So glad i purchased it.

  • black soap turns that color when moisture hits it. Yes it is a brown color, but when in contact with water, the soap itself turns dark, especially when melted to a liquid

  • there is an african festival in my neighborhood and i bought some shea butter, but i was wondering if the african black soap is good to unclog pores really well.

  • @blackbarbiediva13 - it is excellent!

  • Does anyone know where i can find this in new York city ?

  • @xebexe5695 harlem- all over 125th street - i just bought some from a street guy on 8th ave

  • @xebexe5695 every damn where. In brooklyn on atlantic avenue near 4th avenue. In fort greene on fulton street. In crown heights on eastern parkway and Utica. and uptown 125 street. Along Malcomn X blvd. In Queens on Jamaica Ave. They been selling that stuff all over the city for decades.

  • @xebexe5695 125th street, just about any vendor . .

  • Can you maybe like send me one

  • Africans are great, they dont use chemicals to make a soap. They instead take things from nature the way its supposed to be and make something amazing.

  • How often does everyone wash their face with black soap? I'm curious!! I'm thinking about switching to every other day. I have oily-combination skin and I am thinking about cutting down on it, because too much of anything is never really good if you know what I mean.

  • very true great soap i mean squeaky clean but definitely us a moisturizer after i recommend burt bees milk and honey

  • CrownofHisGlory! Good to see you! I definitely plan to try this product.

  • ~herYTVids addition

  • That stuff lathers up so good.

  • Thank you for making this video! I was thinking about buying ABS from CoastalScents and this vid really helped me make up my mind! -leelee

  • yea them african products are a lot better then clinque n procative where u gotta spend hundreds of dollars on n it don't do shit half the time

  • @shonekaakaneika.Yr so right! Stick to the natural products. Its inexpensive and works! Our cousins in Africa know their stuff!!

  • @shonekaakaneika

That sure is the truth! :)

  • I love this Raw African Black Soap. It completely cleared up my skin and my pores have shrunken.

It is very important to follow with a good moisturizer.

Make sure it says "100% Raw" when purchasing this soap. There are a lot of wannabes Black soap that are not the real deal.

  • What kind of black soap did you use? what was the name of it? & How long did it take for your skin to clear up?

  • to sstupidssmile, i use the "raw african black soap". You can get it on Ebay or any other sites on the internet. But make sure it say "raw" and does NOT contain any shea butter at all.

It took about 5 days for my skin to clear up. I had a breakout on my forehead from stress. Stress breakouts are the hardest to clear up and the raw soap worked.

Wash your face with it in the morning and evening and follow with a good moisturizer

  • I'm contemplating between using the raw blk soap and the one you can buy at any store. Which works better? or do they work about the same? I'm thinking the unrefined because it has no additives.

It just seems like you know and have already compared the two.

    Thanks!

  • @sstupidssmile I am an African and we call it "Oson Dudu" or "Alata" soap..i think the "Alata" name looks like it might have originated from Nigeria but i think most Africans know about it.

  • YEAH..AM AFRICAN TOO....dudu osun ..its from nigeria.

  • great video, brief and to the point! =D

  • Just make sure if you get ABS that it lathers WHITE or very very light BROWN, because that is 100% ABS, if it doesn't it has chemicals in it!

  • dudu olson African soap is the best soap is the best soap I've tried - I really hope these things stay the same and the sellers and producers don't have to skimp on the process to make more money. But I love to support these products, and they are so good!

  • hey thanks for the review. i just got some black soap from a local store online, and from the pictures it looks like it would be crumbly and hard, but when it arrived it was in paste form like what you have in the video so i thought it might not be the real deal. but i guess it could come in a gummy paste form, too.

  • I've seen black soap in different forms, is there any difference?

  • Black soap is NOT black. But if that stuff works for you, then hey, keep using it. :)

  • I recently purchased some African black soap. I love it. Makes my skin nice and soft. I also use it to shampoo my hair. Works wonders. I bought mine (along with shea butter) from agbangakarite.

  • her soap is black soap. It just doesnt contain shea butter in it and has a high water content which makes it gummy. I use the same type.

  • You guys...that's not African black soap. Or maybe it's East African black soap because pure West African black :p It's a whitish color almost. Some are very dark, though..I suggest getting the real thing. If it has a name brand on it, it's been messed with!

  • Do you know where I can buy black soap?

  • You can get both black soap and shea butter from butters-n-bars or shop (add dot) agbangakarite (add dot) com. Silly Youtube

  • or you can just get it at your local health food store

it may not be the same brand

but real black soap is real black soap

the brand shoudnt matter except for whatever they add into their soap

  • I agree black soap is wonderful. I have very oil and blemish prone skin. I immediately follow up with shea butter as my moisturizer.

  • As far as you know, is there a STORE that sells this?

  • Yes, many.

CoastalScents sells it too. (check the reviews)

And it's great. And also works better than any expensive anti wrinkle treatment in the world. It really improves te quality of your skin.
