buy the model that has pulp control, and it is taller then the cheap one you bought. I bought larger cuisinart juicer. is 29.95 at bed bath and beyond . 25 with 20 percent coupon
One of the reasons you're having such a tough time with the juicer is that the cord is not routed correctly. There's a little notch in the base, if you shove the cord up into that the juicer will lay flat and not move as much. I really like mine, but it does take a little bit of finesse. I usually juice with the spout in the up position. Also, you'll get more pulp if you use the final spin feature- place the lid on with no fruit, press down, and let it go until the juicer spins really fast
Did not have the same experience. To stop it from moving, I put it on a wooden counter top, held it down with one hand just in case but didn't even need to do that. The strainer was not hard to clean and the kid will get over the pulp eventually... perhaps buy him the non-pulp stuff at the store and drink the fresh stuff yourself. We love it enjoyed a nice glass of orange juice and I had the right size cups too :) Just get slightly shorter glasses that are cheap and hold it down -no big deal.
Try putting the juicer on top of a damp towel, it may get a bit more traction like that. Also, you could elevate it on a cutting board but thats something else to wash.
I tried a towel to a rough service... the motor is just way to powerful for the legs... but if you can get someone to hold the base.... then the juicer works amazing
you're really this terrible at life aren't you, this thing is simple.
