If we find a very advanced alien civilization, we might be able to gain help from them in terms of knowing more about whatever, technological development, and of course, the progress of our own civilization. You might ask "Why would they help us?" Honestly, judging by the fact that they're advanced, they're probably not violent. Letting go of violence is essential for highly advanced civilizations. How can your race survive if you keep on killing each other?

@MisterMWest You're right, but there's a problem with that... how can you possibly search for life then? As of now, we have to rely on evidence that leads us to a logical answer. To do that, we have to base our search on life as we know it. If life exists this way here, and we can find evidence of similar Earth-like planets, then we can logically come to the conclusion that there's a high possibility of life there.

Well I'm not too sure about that. We are pretty smart, but sadly our brains aren't smart enough to understand the universe or how it formed. They might be intrigued about the way we socialize, our culture and how we run the planet and they probably will be able to speak human language with relative ease.

Of course there is life out there. We are looking at it through narrowed eyes. Life can arrise in many different ways, and it doesn't have to be carbon based like ours....Think, in a never ending universe, anything and everything is possible.

I don't know where you read up the laws of physics but this is NOT in the laws of physics anywhere.

The basic laws of phyiscs are: law of gravity, law of motion, conservation of mass-energy and momentum, law of thermodynamics and invariance of the speed of light ,I have read up on all of these because I am also interested in the origin of creation and your theory? isn't among it.

I will add to this however that I have nothing against religion or religious people. Lots of my friends are religious too, I just think people need to look more critically at who their god is. A very good example of this is the "ancient astronauts theory".
