Until I bought "Kicking Television", I had never heard anyone (I'm looking at you Nels) take a guitar that sounds like it could be backing Tom Petty, and just go Balls Out Shredosaurus Rex on it. Truly an amazing player.
THANKS for posting. A very fine performance of a superlative song - Nels especially brilliant on '59 Jazzmaster; Tweedy no slouch either. I LOVE the way this song build from soft acoustic to relentless electric chugging. Many sublime versions of this to choose from. Thank you YouTube.
Indeed, thanks for sharing! I love their treatment of this song live, especially on "Kicking Television." Is it just me, or is Nels Cline the most emotionally satisfying guitarist on this planet?
it's interesting that you used the words "emotionally satisfying" because I told somebody once that he plays his solos like they're the money shots in a porno.
Very lucky to have been there for this show.

While the video quality isn't that great, the audio quality is exceptional. And the performance is awsome (but that goes without saying)! Grats.

I'm not a big Wilco fan, but his style reminds me a lot of Adrian Belew.
I love "weird" guitar players, the guys got style for sure.

@zweidunkeljungen I think he might be second behind David Gilmour, but thats just my humble opinion.
