This is correct. I logged 248 traps on the Kennedy and Ike in the A-7 Corsair B & E models. Cat shots are taken with feet flat on the floor, throttle (left hand) locked on the throttle, and right hand in your lap, directly over your crotch. The pilot has ZERO input controls during the cat shot.
The F14 was an awesome airplane and I spent many years working on the AWG-9 radar as an enlisted and civilian rep It still stands as the only USA fighter that could engage aerial targets at an incredible range of 100 miles!!! The F14D models could even fly supersonic without using their afterburners Great range, high speed, close in dogfighter and long range standoff engagements F14 = Anytime Baby!!

That is a recording of a young pilot taking off from an aircraft carrier for the first time. It is a very critical takeoff and dangerous. The pilot has half a second to decide whether the plane will fly or fall, in wich case he/she is left with another half second to eject or die. The pilots that fly the 1958 migs from your muslim nation will never have the chance of enjoying this thrill because you have no aircraft carriers. Jealousy is a woman's trait hassan, you have to get over it.
I proudly served on the USS Wasp many many years ago and while I was not a pilot everyone has a vital role in keeping the ship in service. I wish I was able to serve on one of our new carriers today and see how things have changed.

That is a recording of a young pilot taking off from an aircraft carrier for the first time. It is a very critical takeoff and dangerous. The pilot has half a second to decide whether the plane will fly or fall, in wich case he/she is left with another half second to eject or die. The pilots that fly the 1958 migs from your muslim nation will never have the chance of enjoying this thrill because you have no aircraft carriers. Jealousy is a woman's trait hassan, you have to get over it.

I proudly served on the USS Wasp many many years ago and while I was not a pilot everyone has a vital role in keeping the ship in service. I wish I was able to serve on one of our new carriers today and see how things have changed.
