Thanksgiving is my favorite day, so I allow the one day to eat what I please, and then the next day it's back to the healthy lifestyle. It made sense--don't worry!

I agree that we should all do what is best for ourselves. And if partying it up with family and stuffing yourself with turkey is what you like to do for the holiday, why not? It's one day out of the year. And if your family truly is scrutinizing what you are putting in your mouth, then you just have to realize that it is their issue, not yours.

WOW!! 30lbs!! Good for you hun that's totally awesome. You must feel so good about yourself. I had a grandfather come to me when I was 11 (and not even fat yet...) and he said "you're going to kill yourself eating this much, you should go on a diet, you shouldn't eat at all it's disgusting, blah blah blah" ...and i don't even have A relationship at all with this man. Gah, people. Exactly DO IT BECAUSE YOU WANT TO DO IT! :)
