I doubt that one block is an eversion reference... that's just how the coin snake block works, it plays whatever's set as the P-switch music and allows you to control the way the snake moves. That IS an interesting theory though.
@MissFuzzbottom I wonder: If I used a widescreen resolution that wasn't HD (like, say, 640x360), would it still look bad? Or is it just HD that causes the quality issue?
@ZZDaikun No idea. I've always uploaded my stuff at the same resolution I recorded in. Did the HD video look good before uploading? If it did, the issues is probably on YouTube's end. I know some videos look messy if there's too much activity onscreen. Maybe Mario World's huge pixels counts as "too much activity".
Note to maker: Do not make levels full of noteblocks. They might give you a chuckle, but they give the player a bad kind of annoyance. Its not fun and it isn't a test of skill. If you have too many of them, time will run out quickly which might lead to the player abandoning your game
@ZZDaikun It would seem like it, but i made this name cause i used to make auto mario levels and musicnotesblocks come in quite handy. i know you were joking, i didn't take it as an insult or whatever
yeah... I'm scraping the last details off of it. I've got a new version for ya soon.

@scratch799 Ive used the smb3 music IPS patch and applyed the POW music fix patch. It doesn't work with the direction coins tho.

@ZZDaikun I think it's the widescreen thing. SNES didn't have that. It doesn't look right on a wide screen TV either.

Daikun,i advise you to press a p-switch in the upper level of Yoshi's new house. Try bringing one up and pressing it!
