Except that no one among them can sing; Jake does a decent job on his own songs, but that's about it. Brendan is horrible, and for the little singing in this clip Jake need to be locked away for good.

Just a thought.... Robert plant is regarded by many as a bad singer. They are singing like robert plant. So through singing bad they have accomplished something. They are so good they can sing bad... I dont know

lyrics and vocals are a lot of jam bands weak points, that's why 90% of thier shows are instrumental awsomeness. i acctually overheard a guy at one of the Um shows i was at last year, it was his first UM show and he did'nt really know them. He made a comment saying that they were really good but did'nt understand why they did'nt sing much, i told him you don't want to hear them sing very much.

yeah Brenden is actually a pretty good singer with a pretty unique voice too. Jake's vocals aren't really terrible but I must say when he try's to stretch his voice for the bridge here on 'Immigrant Song' it is rather painful.

wow i've seen umphrey's three times and they've never played anything from Anchor Drops. I didn't know they actually did that. Safety in numbers was SHIT and i hope they revive some of the Anchor drops magic sometime soon
