The code at the start is Egyptian unilteral and bilaterial signs. From R-L I see mouth (but haven't found what the inverted U's are yet), then mouth four, then the symbol for either m, gs, or im. Search wikipedia for Egyptian uni/bilateral signs for more.

They are fractions. But I do not know what the first symbol is at all, I can not find it. the upside down u is ten and the the mouth symbol over it is like saying 1/10.
