For the life of me I cant see why so many people hate this version of the show.

Technically its not a "2nd season" its a "Re-telling" it actually fallows that manga batter then the first show.

the animation is different because it wasn't made by MADHOUSE.

The first show came with the video games where as this one was an "Actual" TV broadcast.

So for all those that blindly hate this just for its differences you can all fuck off if you dont like it then dont watch. Its as simple as that.

@sakurarayne Because the animation was done by Artland and featured a new staff for this season. Yu Aida, the creator of the manga, became chief writter and supervisor for this season so though it's artwork is lackluster, the more focused storyline is awesome.

This series is the 2nd, but is also an OVA. The first one appears more darker and serious, which makes this series look a little awkward for me & I've only noticed differences on their behavior so far (I can't say much about the plotline yet since it's the 1st episode). Nonetheless... I'm glad they decided to continue with Gunslinger Girl.

The Action is just terrible and the over-all story in this series is just too bland......
