somehow i think the m249 would have had more recoil.

The gun is very accurate and stable, though not very mobile it can lay down accurate bursts of fire or a wall of suppressive fire. Also, contrary to a lot of video games guns don't have that much recoil, or the soldier you play has MS and a broken arm. The saw weighs I think about 2 times more than an M16 though, but still it's light(for me anyways)
