  • one of my favorite all time songs

  • i am muslim, but i like this song :)

  • 240p We meet again. -.-

  • When i listen to this song all i think about are my bros. We went through SO MUCH together. Always had each other backs, always had a sibling rivalry, and never leaving each other behind. Our rivalry made us stronger each day. No matter what, when we got into fights we knew that we would fight together. But now that there gone, it feels worse than hell..... I miss you Blake and Jordan, and i will ALWAYS cherish our memories, you cna count on that........

  • Sraight to my soul..

  • I'm a christian and I didn't know 12 stones was a christian band, I'm really surprised. Another great reason to love them even more.

  • me fait trop pensé a mon ex!!!!

when i hear this song i just think about my exgirlfriend

  • Sounds like 3 Doors down...not bad :)

  • I'm an atheist, but what I've noticed is that the great thing about Christian music is that it can still apply to most people's situations anyway. Everyone needs someone by their side, whether it's God, or just a family member, a friend or your significant other. <3

  • @MusiicLover1993 you are so right! I'm an atheist all the way. I don't believe in God and Jesus, but I believe in Christian values, which I think is what's important in order to live a good life.

  • Comment removed

  • @MusiicLover1993 Well said. But let yourself be led into God's arms and be cared for and have hope. Always have hope. :)

  • if i fall down will you help me carry on? I can not do this alone <3

  • Why is it that every band i come across that happens to be labled "christian" there is always a big controversy over it? Who the fuck cares as long as its good music!

  • Buddhist, and I love this band. :)

  • Wow this is the 1st song i hear of 12 stones and Dam im just shocked at why i haven't heard of them b4!!

  • @josh44566 That's what I thought myself.

  • @josh44566 If you've heard Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life" then you heard Paul McCoy, the vocalist. Just pointing that out! ;)

  • @Kumomoto wow really! I NEVER NOTICED THIS B4 XD man i feel pretty stupid right now but thanks for pointing it out ^_^

  • christian or not, these guys rock! simple as that =)

  • *Evanescence sorry.. Bleh was busy drooling over Paul when I typed that. XD

  • @weirdguync : Evansence got onto the charts claiming to be a Christian band too. They once top the charts as one. Though I wonder sometimes if they might still be base don their lyrics. But Ben Moody said once in a interview "We are not a 'Fing' question band" So no telling. Either way... I don't care if either Evansence or 12Stones are or not I still love them and their music. <3

  • Omg, why anyone created something like "christian rock"? Im not "christian" so does it mean I cant listen to their songs? Lool. Just like what the fuck? Makes me feel sick when I read your all comments about them. Omgggg

  • @23Tala ur free to listen to any music. lol christians are pretty normal. christian songs are just songs that are based on their beliefs. like most christian bands dont cuss

  • @bezawesome Ohh, okay, cool? :O

  • guys can we just chill!!! like srsly? it hurts me to see these kind of comments on a christian song.

  • WHERE DA FACK IS MA BLUNT Y'ALL MODDAFAKKAS,WHO STOLE MINES?!!@#!@!@#$@%^&*#$@

  • @im34cool Really, a slang term for a marijana cigar. Do you really think everyone in the world uses stupid slang terms?

  • @im34cool No its called having ADHD you idiot, btw it would be nice if you would just say what it is......I mean honestly Im starting to think you don't even know what it is.

  • omg not about the stupid christian stories

  • è una bellissima canzone :):):)

  • I love how just putting the word "Christian" in the description, this video has turned into a god debate forum. I love the internet :)

  • Love this song..!!!!

  • 12 stones are amazing they have so much emotion in their songs. i love it it calms me down all the time

  • i showed this band to a friend of mine as a christian alternative to korn and slipknot...and he actually liked them...i think this band has more of an impact on ppl than most ppl give them credit for...12 STONES ROCKS!!!

  • Bombskiess love the band!!

  • heheh kolejny zespół który gra chsześcijańskiegho rocka xD

  • I would like to throw 12 stones at this band. Big ones and directly at the face.

  • will you, be here or will i be alone

will i, be scared teach me how to be strong

if i, fall down will you help me carry on

I CANNOT DO THIS ALONE-BEST PART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 6 people are haterzz

  • Ya I know what you mean. It's that division among christians and other religions that has pushed me away from following Jesus in the traditional since of belonging to a certain church. It just doesn't make since how some 'christians' can judge others and assume that their following is the only correct way. Didn't Jesus teach us to love and respect other human beings even if they are different? It's always been my belief that God judges us based on the character of our souls, not our faith.

  • @RuthlessMcToothless Is the character of your soul good enough to get by God's judgement? Remember that the God that Jesus talked about is one who is holy. It only took ONE tiny little act of disobedience to have adam and eve discarded from God's presence. Now if you were to honestly examine all the words, thoughts and actions through out your life... when God judges you, would you go to heaven or hell? If the answer isnt 100% sure heaven, it should seriously concern you...

  • WHO CARES ABOUT GENRES.

  • Is this Alternative rock or Nu metal?

  • I love all of their music but I am especially adoring this one.

  • Who cares if the lyrics are religious. I hate religion, but 12 stones music helped me through some difficult time as a teenager and young adult. I am 25 now, if it wasn't for this band I would have committed suicide due to having a difficult time accepting I was gay. Been a fan since 2002.

  • @brknimmortal wait yu were GAY??? and are yu atheist???

  • @Sepulchure19x - Still gay, and will die gay. I have come to accept it is who I am. I'm not atheist.... I believe in a higher power, if I had 2 categorize myself under a religion, it would be: Unitarian Universalist

  • @brknimmortal stupid fag

  • respect is all i can say for now

  • 6 retards still walk around in hell

  • This iss beautiful. This song has alot of soul to it....i can relate :)

  • 6 dislikes?!?! wtf is wrong with people?! thumbs upppp I like thisssss

  • it seems that i cant get enough of this song, it`s great

  • Comment removed

  • I have given this music a chance but I prefer the satanic sounds of Deicide much better. It goes good with when I am barbequeing the neighborhood's stray cats and dogs. :-)

  • love it!! hearing it over and over again!

  • 6 People didn't stay...:(

  • absult Geil besser geht nicht

  • " A song by a christian rock band" wow give them a little more credit than that, damn. They are only the best Christian Rock Band Ever.

  • when you are a real man this song touchs your heart!

  • What a beautiful song! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • one of the most beutiful songs ever made

  • que buen grupo nunca me canso de escuchar una y otra vez los temas. capos!!!!!!!!!!

  • good song :))

  • who cares if they are a chrustian band they still sound great and have some great music

  • Catholics and Protestants believe in the same pillars of Christianity. One: They both believe in the Trinity and hold it as fact. Two: Both believe the Bible is God's Word and undeniable truth. Three: Both believe that Sin has entered the world and that the punishment for it is death. Four: Both believe that Jesus was born of a virgin mother, and that He gave His life for you and me on the cross. Fifth: Both believe Jesus is the only way into heaven.

  • @clykdd ..... I can't find your other comment you made recently. However, I really don't care who follows what religion to be honest. There's one God as far as I'm concerned, and how people choose to honour Him is their business. I have no time for organized religion, far too hypotritical for my liking. Treat others as you would like to be treated, and live a clean life is my motto. Gawd?? how did this get into a religious discussion? I came here to hear the music lmao

  • @AussieSheila16

Well to correct myself, there are six. I forgot the Anglicans. I did not mean to make this a religious discussion. I was only trying to clear up some misconceptions about Catholicism. However, I agree. I tend to get riled up and want to argue. But this is music. And I'm not exactly the best at trying to remain calm and using words that don't excite anger. But yeah, I only made that comment to clear up some misconceptions.

  • @clykdd ....... that's okay Clykdd. I wasn't angry at all and I thought you expressed yourself very well with all your comments. I'm a Christian and proud of it, I just don't have any time for denominations and many "man made" rules that form part of their beliefs, or people who try and force their beliefs on others. Hey? could be worse, the discussion here could've developed into a political debate too lol But there's no denying, this band rocks!

  • they started not far from where i am in louisiana ive been to a few of their concerts and they are amazing live

  • 12 stones is an awesome band i love em

  • I honestly hadn't heard of this group until a few days ago...I came across this song by complete chance! I only later realised that the guy singing was on Evanescence's song "Bring Me To Life".

It's a real shame that a lot of American bands aren't even recognised here in England. I've come across so many that deserve success over here, but nobody else has heard of them! :(

  • @tash221191 Even here in America people don't really follow 12 Stones, it is rare to find someone who knows who they are.

  • this song is absolutely amazing. it makes my heart bleed. bleed as i sit and remember my past. the memories and pain. but there's a light that still there. the love and warmth. it still guides and helps create a path. but i never want to forget. that pain and past is what is me.

  • Pedazo de cancion..;)

  • ay dude, can u pleaze 5end me 5ome of der 5ongz.. dey rock.

  • Adoro essa musica hummm muito show....

  • Greatest song ever

  • guys if u want just type list of all christian bands and google it tats how i found 12 stones meh thyr awsome 8^[)

  • his voice is so amazing!! why haven't i heard of them before??!!

  • reagardless of what they may or may not be their music is very inspirational and somewhat spiritual if you read some of the music awesome group of musicians by far

  • I LIKE IT!!!! A LOT!!!!

  • They are christian. Found out at there concert. Got that solved now.

  • 12 stones is one of my favorite bands of all time, and yes they still are a Christian rock band. Just because they dont rap about god in every song dose not change the fact that they are. Yes I will admit that they were writing more religious based songs in the earlier years but if you dont speak about god every day dose that make you less christian? I didt think so.

  • @xxxlominacxxx

Can you prove that they are a christian band then? Unless you speak with them, but if you can't schhhh we don't wanna read what you are writing, we just wanna listen to the fucking song that we have choosen to listen to. so can all just sschhhh with their belifes ?

  • q bueno q hable de dios q es lo maximo

  • they may not be as much of a christian band now but they were when they started

  • @weirdguync how so?

  • @cuykai they professed christianity a lot more when they first started, im not saying that they arent christians anymore, just that they dont really talk about it

  • @weirdguync oh okay

  • @weirdguync Well I believe part of it was the deal with Evanescence releasing as a Christian band originally and the label hooking them up with 12 Stones. They did the video and such, few weeks after Evanescence release they did the interview in which Amy Lee said "fuck" twice or something. Then it came out that two of the original members quit right before the release and got replaced by two guys who drink/smoke/cuss. So 12 Stones got shunned by the Christian market because of association.

  • they are not a christian rock band.

  • @SLee271 emm they really are a chirstian rock band ..

But who cares 12 Stones music is awesooome!

    this song is awesooome!

  • @FatRoCa ohw, i've heard they are not a christian rockband, but they do are a christian.

    yeah, who cares ;)

  • well catholics and protestants beliefs very slightly when it comes to salvation, and to most protestants saying that you're "christian" is like saying that youre going to heaven....so i guess if thats your definition of christian then not all catholics and protestants are christians because some believe differently when it comes to salvation

  • @weirdguync salvation comes from christ alone, regardless of what doctrine or division one may follow. i find it sad that its the outward appearance the church looks at and then they create division amongst themselves. God sees your heart, and if your heart belongs to christ, then who am I to judge you or anyone else ? a house divided against itself falls, and a kingdom divided against itself will not stand. but hey..thatsonly my two cents for all its worth :)

  • Comment removed

  • @weirdguync Most Catholics and Protestants are so similar its no use debating the differences. They both believe in the Augustinian definition of Original Sin. Whereas, the Eastern Churches believe in Ancestral Sin. I'd type in Original Sin vs. Ancestral Sin and click a couple links below on the Preacher's Institute.

  • @clykdd - He was talking about salvation. If you're eyes are open, A Christian knows that they are a sinner (original, ancestral, our actions, ect) and that they fall short from Gods glory, and deserve hell. To the Christian, salvation is a Gift, by God giving us his son Jesus, to become sin in our place. A Christian hasnt done a single thing to deserve this propitiation, and the Christian knows it. Its the sacrifice that we dont deserve, and we recieve it by repenting and beliveing in Christ.

  • @Mr4433

I still hold to what I said. However, for Catholics, one must do good works to prove his faith. Its found in James: faith without works is dead.

  • @clykdd - Good works are like filthy rags before God. The passage, "faith without works is dead", is very true, but your understanding is wrong. We cannot prove our faith to God through works. Catholics try to prove their faith to other HUMANS through works, and the call themselves rightious for their works. If you have faith in Christ, your works can be for the glory of god, NOT FOR YOURSELF. If you beleive that your works do anything for you, then you do not understand what Christ did for YOU

  • @Mr4433

First, thats not what I was stating, good sir. Second, how dare you launch an attack against a sister Church that insinuates its followers do good deeds for themselves. But instead of arguing over this, I'll just say that you are right, but its clear sola fide has reared its head here. Thats all I will say. After all, if I get you angry I will have violated what the Apostles said that I should not cause a brother to err.

  • @clykdd - What i am getting at tis that there are many wrong teachings in the catholic church, but if a catholic truly believes in Christ, then they will be clensed of all sins. And if you disagree with my statement that there are many wrong teachings in the catholic church then you have not read the bible.

  • @Mr4433

Of course my sister church has several wrong teachings, papal supremacy, Anselm's theory of atonement, Aquinas's mixture of science and God, Augustine's Original Sin (what he says, not the concept), the Immaculate Conception, and papal infalibility, and its heavy emphasis on rationalism. However, the Protestant church is just the same, on large. And if you disagree with me, then you have not read your theology. I have. Thats why I'm becoming Eastern Orthodox.

  • @clykdd - Ya I have no doubt about how many churches that have wrong teachings. We are sinners and its evident in everything we do. I will place my trust in the Christ, not the church. Christ will guide you the right way, even how we are kicking and screaming, but if we keep our faith in him we will not be disappointed, he gave himself for us. The church you choose should be because you want to learn more about Jesus.

  • @Mr4433 There is only one true, and holy Apostolic Church that has preserved the teachings of the Apostles, that is the Eastern Orthodox Church. All others are heterodox and their teachings are wrong. However, if God chooses to save such people, it is through His will. He even said that there are some not of the Church that are close to His heart. Again, your answer is very typical of my Protestant Brothers, but it is faulty.

  • @clykdd - pretty quick to point your self rightious finger. People like you are the reason why religion is hated. because you focus on religion instead of god. Jerk

  • @Mr4433

I love how you act like you didn't point a finger at the Catholic Church, also. There's no such thing as a difference between Religion and God. And, I wasn't being all self righteous in my postings either. Maybe a bit combative towards Protestants, but then again I wasn't the one who said that Catholics believe they can work their way to heaven and proceed to slander the whole Church, now was I?

  • @clykdd - The difference is between "your" religion and God. God doesnt think like us, nore your outlook on religion.

  • @Mr4433

One, how can I talk about my outlook on religion in Youtube comments? Two, did I ever say God thought like us? Three, Christianity is a religion. According to some of your previous comments, you don't seem to think so. A belief in God makes you religious good sir, the dictionary tells us. And this was about the friendliest and less aggressive way I could word this. Forgive the failings.

  • @clykdd - Being a christian is not a religion, its a relationship with Christ. If you ask most catholics, they would tell you they are not christian, but catholic. I do many things in life religiously, many sinful things, many normal things, But as a christian, I have a bond and a relationship with my savior, its anything but a religion. Your faith in religion should be placed in Christ.

  • @Mr4433 Religion is not neccessarily a bad thing. I don't understand your shirking of the label. Calling Christianity a religion does not mean you cannot have a personal relationship with your Saviour. Many of the Catholics that I know have a closer walk because of the Sacraments and because of various other facets of Catholicism than many of my Protestant friends. I never said I had faith in religion. I merely pointed out the obvious fact that Christianity is a religion. Forgive the tone.

  • Comment removed

  • @clykdd -When you said "preserved the teachings of the Apostles", are you refering to a teaching outside of the bible?

  • @Mr4433

Nope. The Apostles wrote the New Testament. They were the ones who even created teachings we associate with the Bible. I find it hard to believe that any teaching of the big 4: Peter, Paul, James, and John would contradict anything in the Bible. Peter is the Rock; John the Beloved; Paul the Apostle to the Gentiles (and author of most of the NT); James the Just.

  • @clykdd - I agree with as far as that goes. As long as the church stays scripture alone then that is great, but when they start venturing out into undeniable human teachings then its complete herecy.

  • @Mr4433

Well, that depends on how you view Scripture. To Catholics and Orthodox (I'm generalizing a bit because theres a big difference), Biblical Tradition is part of the Bible. They see it as that the Bible came out of that tradition. For instance, how did the Priest Melchisedek know how to worship God in Genesis (He wasn't a Jew either)? For those believing in Biblical Tradition (note that the Bible must agree 100% with said tradition), they see this as a clear affirmation of it.

  • @weirdguync .......... And also there are a lot of Catholics, Protestants and other denominations that are purely hypocritical. Just my slant on the meaning of being Christian, but for me it's how a person lives their life and first and foremost, treats other people. And moving right alongggggg, back to the music ;)

  • @AussieSheila16

Actually, theres only about 5 sects of Christianity. Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy, Protestantism, and the Church of the East. I'm sure there are others but most fall under the umbrella of Protestantism. Though Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy are the biggest. Just an fyi

  • @weirdguync Christianity merely belief in the god stated in the bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ, the different branches like Catholicism and Protestant are merely different views about getting up there. Protestants were Catholics that wanted to end the injustices of the Catholic church.

  • Great band though

  • @amberb2003 you do realize that if you say you're catholic then you're saying you're christian right? catholicism is just a denomination of christianity...lol

  • Yes, I know, but Most christians I know dont feel that way. They feel its two different things...I know, its stupid, because it all branches from the same thing, but they are always trying to convert me to chrisianity (their words, not mine)

  • yea ok sorry i was just pointing out that you cant really be converted to christianity if your a demonination of christianity already thats all

  • nice song just added it to my vid :DD lol

  • Some poeple may feel that this speaks to the writers relationship with God, maybe to a significant other, but I think that people should just hear the words, take them in, and let it take on a meaning that speaks most to them personally.

  • I hate the labels.....Why can't it be a good song by a good band? why do they always have to carry a label with them? Iam not a christian, but there is some so called "christian" bands that I love, and I just wish people would get past the religious aspects and just enjoy the music. FYI, I am catholic, so I dont need any christians trying to shove their reigion down my throat.

  • @amberb2003 I totally agree with you!

  • @amberb2003 amen man, i am neither catholic or any specified sect of christianity, im just independent, i come as i go with church and what not, and its hard for me to believe the first two apges of the bible... but on subject there is a band called FAMILY FORCE 5 and SKILLET they are "christian" but only labled that because they praise god/jesus inbetween songs, their lyrics have nothing to do with them

  • @amberb2003 : Same point of view ;)

  • Its good to see there are people who just listen to the music, and let it mean what it speaks to them most about when they hear it.

  • @amberb2003 Yeah exactly ^^

  • if your catholic your a christian you know right?

  • Yes, I know, but Most christians I know dont feel that way. They feel its two different things...I know, its stupid, because it all branches from the same thing, but they are always trying to convert me to chrisianity (their words, not mine)

  • @Danz2003

    yeah

  • pretty song,12 stones are aewsome

  • As long as Jesus gets the credit, Christian anything is where we need to be!

  • I love this :)

  • this band makes awesome music

  • i love this song<3

  • Hehehe STONED!^^

  • If a band is "Christian Rock" it doesn't always mean they sing about religion, it means they're all Christians. Examples of that are the bands Creed, P.O.D., and Flyleaf.

  • Love this song kinda sad though.Paul has a really amazing voice.Love ya 12 Stones!!!!

  • Ci sono troppo legata a questa canzone! <3

    "...I am not alone,I know you're there..."

  • i dont think 12 stones gets as much credit and attention as they deserve. theyre amazing and no matter what genre they call themselves they kick ass anyways :D

  • @hamandcheezballsjr i agree! they are amazing to

  • 12 stones isnt a christian rock band anymore. They switched genres.

  • when???

  • @clykdd what are they now?

  • christian rock umm didn't some in the 50's say that this would NEVER HAPPEN well guess what it happen lol

  • no, they said it was played out. I think you just tried to work in a "Walk the Line"/ Johnny Cash reference there.

Slick-- Actually Christian Rock started long before the 50's, but it really didn't sell as well as Rock n' Roll and Blues.

And still doesn't sell as well as most Rock (Heavy, Metal and Alternative).

  • Christian Rock started long before the 50's?? where in the hell you get that from?? And SURE didn't work in a Walk the Line/Johny cash reference SLICK

  • You did, maybe you didn't see the movie? Or don't remember? Hey, maybe it was unintentional, either way. Rock today and Rock then sounds much different, but if you asked Buddy Holly what he was in 1955, he'd tell you he played "Rock 'n Roll".

Most songs prior to 60-65 was based on religion, soul and rock alike. Christian Rock had been played repetatively over the course of a solid half century, because its what the people dig- but, it wasn't reffered to as Christian Rock- listen to it, it was.

  • great song!!....very underrated band in my eyes
