@StrawberryGuy86 The game won't have difficulty choices, it was never planned to be like that and now it's just too late, but it will be balanced over time to have a difficulty curve as you progress through it. At the same time, the secret levels will probably stay harder, but they will always be optional. The ones that will get the most balance are the mandatory ones, the ones you're forced to play through. Thanks for the feedback though.

@MKFusionTeam You're welcome. It's not that I have a problem with games being too hard, but more so of games being too cheap. Take for example the level where you go inside a giant sea monster. Now that's just unforgiving! And that's only one of many levels in the game that I feel to be rather cheap. But since you're already trying to balance out the difficulty, I have no complains. @MKFusionTeam Actually i actually DID download a new video card, and now i can play a lot of games i couldn't play before, but i still get an error with this one: a sign pops up saying that the application needs to be closed to prevent my PC to lose some of its memory, it told me that it would be closed untill i get enough free memory, so i tried to uninstall the things i don't need and move other things in the Data D file, but it still doesn't work

@Mario60665 I see.. yeah MKF's biggest problem is it uses a lot of resources because it's made with Game Maker 8 and unfortunately that tool is so unfriendly with memory usage, we're still doing as many optimizations as we can, but computers that aren't strong enough will get lag. I never heard of any error not letting you execute it, people usually just say it lags, don't know why your computer prevents memory usage... btw the game needs around 2.0GHz processor and 1.2GB RAM to run without lag.

ALSO a way to speed things up is to restart your computer and just Open up MKF and nothing else and it runs faster then just set the frame skip to 1 i got my FPS up to 38 like that .-.

@VGAddict981 It says that when it's loading, just give it time; now, what version are you trying?? 0.31 and older versions take forever to load and go this, but 0.4 and 0.41 shouldn't take more than 2 minutes to load unless your computer is a fossil

@VGAddict981 if your computer is too old the game will have trouble loading and will run too slow, but if it's not and if you installed it correctly I don't know what could be wrong with it.. are you even getting any error messages? if not, there's something wrong with your computer

About controllers: Game Maker has joystick support, but it was very poorly added. It is flat out missing some play control functions vital MKF.

Even worse there is no way to make controllers feature customizable buttons. Being controllers come in so many different layouts there is no way to make a "1 size fits all" button layout or a way to add a controller configure to the options.

Its not that we don't want to add controller support. Its that we CAN'T add controller support :( Get Joy2Key.

Save for a few levels, the new levels in this version are rather on the difficult side. And since I use Tails, it's dangerous if a level has bottomless pits...water levels are definitely the most difficult in this category. But one thing has me confused...why is the lava in some of these levels instant kill? I find that rather unfair...it's almost the same as a bottomless pit. Yellow Devil was sure hard...it ended up being a stalement, yet the win went to me because I killed it first.

@MetalYoshi4 Lava has been insta kill in most platforming games since the very first video games like Super Mario Bros, Mega Man, etc. Tails, Sonic and other characters with knock back fall into pits and lava easily when getting hit, gotta be careful, but they got other advantages, it's just well balanced imo. Characters like the Mario Bros or Wario don't have these problems.

@nintagacom that happens with Game Maker games, for some reason it holds the SHIFT hey after you close the game or minimize it some times; to fix it just hold shift or ctrl for 5 seconds

@MissingNYC: Game Maker does not have controller support capable of reproducing MKF's play control. If you want to play it with a controller you'll have to use a joystick emulator like Joy2Key. Do a google search on it.

@vikingscool There's no reason to. It's just extra work on their part that isn't necessary. It's not hard to use a program like XPadder to play games. All it really does is set some keys on your keyboard to whatever button you want to use with your controller. Having them program actual controller keys could also have buggy results, and it may perhaps also be confusing at the same time.

First off, Game Maker doesn't work that way; it just doesn't recognize joypad button inputs. You have to use a third-party joypad-to-keyboard program; JoyToKey is a good one to use.

Second: LMAO... Seriously? "Boycotting"? You really think throwing a fit and not downloading our program will harm us in some way? We're making this game as a HOBBY, not for profit. One guy pouting over trivial issues does not affect us at all.
