@MsPhonicia No. If I'm not mistaken La Nouba is part of the Cirque Du Soleil (originally out of Canada) and is its own separate company. They are located in downtown disney in Florida, but that is a permanent location tent for them and has nothing to do with disney itself. Hope this helped :D
@MsPhonicia I love Cirque Du Soleil. I live no where near Florida but i went down to there on a trip to go to disney and there. They come around me every once in a while. I love them though.
They still have a german wheel in the background later on in the performance, went to see la nouba last week. I personally enjoyed the jump ropes. All in all, the whole show was a masterclass and definitely worth the money :D
@mysweetillusion I saw it once live. I think it is an experience that everyone should have at least once. It was absolutely superb. Do it if money will allow. You will not be let down.
@GamerSwag technically cirque du soleil doesnt have problems letting kids perform has long has they are willing too try and applied too but theres still an age requirement i mean imagine if they let a 2 year old... lol
does any one know the one with the three boys and they have the rope with the weights or laterns at the end. kinda like their version of the girls and diablos
For Color Guard, we are doing this music and some of the moves. I'm so excited. I hope we are half as good as they are. I know if we are, we're going to States for sure!
I received free tickets to this show, and at first I assumed it would be boring and gay. I was surprised how interesting it is in person. I yelled and flinched! When I looked up he was looking at me and then gave me a wink! I about peed my pants! It was awesome! The costumes and the music are just beautiful! Everybody should really go and see it!
I saw this at florida over spring break a few years ago. it was the best part of the trip. dont sit in the front unless you really want to be apart of the show
If you want to fly to the other side of the US, Florida has La Nouba in a permanent building...that's where I saw it. It was absolutely phenomenal. It's just more expensive. My mom says the tickets we got were 2x more expensive than the ones we got a couple weeks ago to see Kooza.
The song is called "once upon a time" on the CD its performed by O'Neill Langlois and on this video by Isabeau Proulx-Lemire and currently in Orlando its Ralph Daniel Rawe
The Green Bird is one of my favorites along the The Titan. My fave of them all though is the Walker. I find him funny but cute the way he walks around the stage ^^
notice i didn't make any claims to the man's nationality? i've taken european history, too. i'm merely saying the march the boys do reminds me of hitler's salute. if the boys seemed to imitate kim jong il's salute -- i would've written that. no one's trying to be a smartass. and god, you really shouldn't try either.

ah! i just saw this the other day! i had front row center! it was so amazing. then again, cirque always is. ^-^ i love this part. when they were both on the same wheel and were rolling straight toward me, one of the guys winked at me, so yeah, that was pretty cool. lol
I dont think we are worthy to see what this strong amazing acrobats can do and the music is amazing. I had center stage fifth row seats and it was amazing... if you ever get a chance see IT!!!!! I personally believe and have had arguments with my brother that this is all a gathering of worlds and the baldy and red guys are leaders of worlds in a war leading up to the climax the battle on the trampolines but they learn they can be together and the white guys
I agree. La Nouba is great period, but it's indescribeable live. It's probably best to see it that way, because there's always so much going on onstage that the cameras just don't catch. All in all, though, Cirque du Soleil rocks.
Mystere' - of all of them, its the most different, I think...the music is wonderful, the Fiddle/Violinst (now in Verakai i think) was incredible...the act's were great...
GOD I h8 la nouba's overlighting during filming...sometimes Isabeau looks like a big white light..but i love to see him! why destroy such a graceful thing with a flood of lighting?

Oh Em Gee! Someone from Cirque has responded to my upload O.O! My Life is that much more complete now! ^,^
I can't get enough, cept for Corteo - I have my doubts about seeing that one.
La Nouba just blows me over with its music, and I love the Singers (I forget their names) - I got to see the Original Preformance of Mystere' and that's wut did it for me. I realy miss the Escargo T_T
Corteo was not the best show. Saltimbanco retires this December in Brazil. And will be replaced by a new one next year. La Nouba was good. I've done 3 acts in that show. The singers it seems are always changing for that show. New ones every year. Is Mystere the only show you have seen live?
I agree! Isabeau is one of my favorite countertenor singers of CdS! They should of weakened the lighting during filming, more to a lighting range like the Corteo DVD.

They are quite simple actually, steal piping and wood, either with straps for the feet or slip-ins.
