At some point they managed to break free from their cages on Hydra island and escape to the main island. The black smoke is one of the more mythological aspects - it does not have a root in scientific sense. It is the manifestation of evil, something which cannot be fully explained - its ultimately left to your interpretation.

Lost is the only show I've seen that puts so much focus on just the characters, so when it ended, it was like a friend moving away. Its like, i wanted it to end so it didn't become a show that became boring, but at the same time i wanted it to keep going because nothing will have the same characters or same plot of general idea.
Since i never watched lost on TV, and just watched all the episode on Netflix within a 3 month time period i might feel differently than those who watched it for 6yrs.
Beautiful video. The one that hit me the hardest was Charlie--I never got over that in terms of the series. I actually didn't watch seasons 4 or 5 because I couldn't bear the thought of attaching myself to another character on the show only to watch them die.
The death scenes in this show were done so beautifully. They are so compelling and just fill you with the emotion that the other characters are feeling. I don't get the emotion when some of the minor characters die, but with Juliette, and those we lost in the sixth season. I really felt empowered with emotion. Such an incredible show..
I think that what LOST taught us all is that life is a gift to be cherished and that we never know who will impact our lives... or how... your best friend or a complete stranger, someone you see every day or someone you just meet... be good to each other!!!

While Shannon, oblivious to her soon tragedy, walks up the beach with her constant, Sayid, her life beginning to heal but ever so close to falling apart again. Jack tells her of Boone's death and when we see that sudden transition as she breaks down - that sudden brutal realisation of loss just leaves you balling.
@Moollii I worked as a writer for Lost for about 2 seasons and after both the seasons, I believe just seeing Locke pounding on the hatch and that light turns on, it just makes me want to keep watching the show over and over again. It literally changed the show to a whole new perspective of that the their whole journey on the island was not hopless and that they may one day find the secret of why there really there.

She knew that she had reached the end of the line and was tired of acting out her inner pain on others.

It's sad that Charlie never got to see Aaron grow, it's sad that Michael never saw his son again, it's sad that Ana Lucia killed Shannon, thinking she was one of the Others, it's sad that Sawyer and Juliet never got the happy ending they were dreaming about. Well, in flash sideways they did have the happy ending, but... they were dead! It's not actually a happy ending! *sob*
This is a great video but the music gets repetitive, u should make it a little shorter or add sad parts from other songs but other than that, i really enjoyed this vid
I really love this video ..... very beautiful and heartbreaking. But I think what would have emphasized all the emotion in the vid, was if you added the voicover of when Sawyer is pleading Juliet to hold on and she says 'I love you' at the end. Other than that, this was awesome!

I've never cried because of a TV show before, though there were two parts of Lost where I cried: Charlie's death, and Juliet's death.
Lost is the greatest show of all time, and if anybody disagrees with that, they either haven't seen all of the episodes, or don't understand then.

This is a great video but the music gets repetitive, u should make it a little shorter or add sad parts from other songs but other than that, i really enjoyed this vid

I really love this video ..... very beautiful and heartbreaking. But I think what would have emphasized all the emotion in the vid, was if you added the voicover of when Sawyer is pleading Juliet to hold on and she says 'I love you' at the end. Other than that, this was awesome!
