I have the same monitor. I have used it for a year. But now i am having some problems with it. I see a ''LOCK'' icon in the middle of the screen. Its been a few weeks since i first saw this problem. But now it has become permanent. I am not able to switch off the monitor, the function keys don't work anymore. It remains all the time during gameplay, doing anything... its really annoying ! PLEASE HELP... please reply soon.. :[
@itsNerdZero Ok, tell me what does the ''LOCK'' icon denote ? There's a lock sign behind the screen in the bottom. And a slot kind of thing. I tried turning off the system and the monitor as well. But when that lock icon appears on the screen the function keys don't work anymore. I cannot even turn off the monitor. It just freezes.
@khalsagamerr it's an Red-White to 3.5mm adapter. The easiest way to get the audio is to plug the speakers straight into the monitor, plug an HDMI cable into the Monitor and PS3. Then output Video and Audio through the HDMI. That's what I'm currently doing.
wikkid vid man, gave me exactly wat i wanted, a review with the ps3! i currently play on like, summat less than 15 inches, realy really old, with my ps3. my birthdays cmin up so i was thinkin on gettin this, watching blu raays was something i never got to do on the ps3 with the tv i currently have so this monitor would make it possible. just to ask, does it have built in speakers? and if so are they any good, and would i need to buy any sort of sound system? the one i had in mind was the logic 3
@khalsagamerr Thanks for the comment. The monitor does not have any sort of speaker on it but there are outputs to plug your own in. I would recommend a great pair of speakers like the Logitech Z-2300. If you use the PS3 with it, try plugging the speakers straight into the console
@khalsagamerr yeah, you will get an adaptor with them you can use with any console. Or you can plug them into the monitor and output the audio and video via HDMI to the PS3. By they way, you'll need a HDMI cable to plug the PS3 in
I've currently got a 19" 1080p HDTV for my PS3, but it was a pretty cheap one from the supermarket. Basically, when I play high detailed games some of the finer, close up details aren't shown very good (such as guns in first person shooters), showing them as very "squarey" (sorry, seems like the best way to describe it haha), which I guess is what pixelated means but I'm not sure. Would this monitor not have this same issue? Thanks.
@Chivers688 No, this monitor is fantastic and it's really 1080p. Cheap HDTV's you get from the supermarket are not 1080p and this would be your problem. I can promise you that you will not be disappointed with this monitor. But you will need to buy speakers as the monitor has none
does it have hdmi?

@Slashgordan are you turning off the system or the monitor. If that doesn't work, try pressing all the buttons except for the second one at once
