The most frustrating game I've ever played. Every second is nothing but stress, not to mention impossible. I got to the 3rd level when I was like 7 and decided I'd accomplished everything I'd needed to accomplish, and I cut my losses right there. I went out on an achievement rather than living with the failures of not making it to level 4.

@RobochaoXX Sometimes it's the emulator. I know most people like ZSnes best but I personally found Snes9x had far more accurate sound emulation with my soundcard than ZSnes.

@SUTOruin Yup.. The most obvious one of all is Super Castlevaia IV. On the title screen when the thunder sound effect is playing, it sounds all messed up on ZSNES, where as on SNES9x it sounds just like it did on the original SNES.

@RabidRaccoonUK Funny. I've never emulated it on SNES9x. Just ZSNES and it seems perfectly normal to me. I guess it didn't phase me at all.

I have a wild story about Dracula X and IV. My cousins had them laying around their house and when we left before moving we picked some games to keep. We took Link To The Past with us but left both of Castlevania games crying alone.

Dracula X is so incredibly rare. Playing it was the shit.
