If you're Irish you shouldn't be insulted by this, he's using an american stereotype of an 1800s Irishman, with a large dose of leprechaun and absurdity. If he spoke like a normal Irish person there would be no comedy in it.
@PrincessHarrySheeran That's hilarious. I'm going on a school trip to Ireland in march to sing in some churches. If I run into you, I'll certainly know!
I thought this was from the Funny Boy's short lived series. like 3 episodes. with the chap from Bill and Ted, (not Keanu, the other bloke.) thanks for posting, I never forgot this sketch, it's been in the back of my head for decades.
PPL HELP ME PLZ! I need the written text of this video (as a lyric) , unfortunately I'm not an english-speaker and he speaks too fast for me but I really need it for a play...
either that is some stereotypical 19th century Irish humor, or the teacher has a grudge against some guy named Patty that he's taking out on the student, hahaha
Thank-you soooo much for posting this. I had ( have ? ) this on beta eons ago, but haven't seen it in what? 20 years? It just popped into my head to look for it here since it's St. Patrick's Day.
great video!!! the other one was deleted... UNFORTUNATELY (sorry pacific arts corporation, but your recent copyright bannings = fuck you.) so, your video is the only one left. my favorite
it was called Elephant Parts, i believe... I'm sooooo happy to see this...... and look for the attack of the 50 foot shrunken apple woman.... it's a Riot.....

@MAMsMom97 Nope, it was definitely from Television Parts, I have it on tape. But I've never seen the other one, so perhaps they showed it in both.

I'm living in Ireland. Both of the shown lessons are invaluable for surviving and communicating with the locals.

Yes, Hollywood Irish, because the REAL thing would be completely unintelligible.
