Cygnar; fighting all the freaks, savages, tree huggers, and wierdos of the Iron Kingdoms. I would love to get involved in this but there is no one I know who likes this stuff to play with :(
Each faction has a tough range of pieces to choose from. I have played them all, and have fought them all. I would say each factions style, has a flavor all their own, and that is what I feel makes this a awesome game to get into.
It kinda depends how you want to play. Cygnar is the usual starting point and dominate ranged battle. Mercenaries can do pretty much anything depending on your choices. Menoth (which is what I play) uses a lot of internal synergies and spells to cause some awe inspiring damage. We have the best light warjacks and I've used my Dervish to take out a Behemoth in 1 round, which my friend was insulted by.
can a noob to warmachine but a vet of wargaming(5 yr warhammer 40k and fantasy vet) learn and effectively play cygnar i heard their play style is wierd but the light warjacks sound cool i like the light ones more, what warcaster is a good start off and what ones are good warjack supporters? for menoth of course :D
Believe it or not, Warmachine is actually incredibly easy to pick up, at least for friendly battles and stuff. It just takes 2-3 games and you'll know pretty much what you're doing. Only hard part is learning all the other factions so you know how to fight them. If you just get the starter kit, you have Kreoss, but the Crusader and Revenger are worth it as well. First purchase after that should be Choir. After that, either Zealots or Knights Exemplar to fill up a 500 point list.
Pretty good painting, I just found out my local gamestore has some of the rulebook models, ive spent many a mintues studying details in the case to the models in the book and man is it cool.
That's a great army you have, and I liked the music and video cutting. The one spoiler is that alot of the images seem just out of focus. Crisp images would make this alot cooler.
My only regret was that I didn't use a color like midnight or regal blue for the front arc... I've grown less and less fond of that blue metallic craft paint.
Nah, I don't have the money to get back into playing, scrapthrall. I think I spent nearly $300.00 building my Dark Eldar army and don't have that kind of extra money now that I'm living alone.

Awesome army and music! I am going to start with warmachine myself and Cygnar is very tempting army to use.

Cool video, can you tell me the name of the song?
Massacratore92 4 years ago
The song is called "First Attack" and it's from the soundtrack to David Lynch's _Dune_(1984).
