Additional note to my previous comment: It''s too bad that Vista Aero has limited visual effects comapred to WindowFX, i.e. Aero does not have min/max windows dragging cool effects. Hope that Stardock will offer the Vista vrsion for WindowFX in the future.
Take note: WindowFX doesn't support Vista ultimate 64bit! Th Stardock homepage clearly stated it only supports WIndows XP. I downloaded the program after watching this video. First it disabled Windows Aero, then my IE7 acted funky (can't max properly & message box popped up saying explorer needs to be closed). I quickly uninstalled restarted my pc & thank good Aero is back & IE7 works as normal. WindowFX only works ofor users who have Windows XP & want the Vista visual effect.
just to let you know its not your graphics card why it lags...Windows XP dosen't have a good one eather (fact its worse) Windows Vista drivers do not support this program!
No... it lags, because it just adds another layer of software on top of the Windows' window manager. It would be impossible to make it smooth this way. You would need the source code from M$.
In Linux, compiz IS the window manager, that's why it can run smoothly.
i just wanted the dragging options to be like linux!!!! but nnooo i need a bettterrr graphics card -.- skrew me
