I'm a pure metal head, but what comes with being a metal fan, is an appreciation for all music the grasp ur body n makes u feel primitive/tribal. Like drum n bass and EBM. Its the natural tempo/beat that our mind n body functions at. Thats precisely why when u hear it in a club/live it flows through u, and u have no choice but to move in the most pure/raw way ur body knows!! Drugs help too :)

I've always liked both industrial and metal. I don't see any necessary conflict, to be honest. There has been a lot of borrowing and blending between them, and with goth as well, over the years. Each is great music in its way!

I think CC are the best, although I got bored at there concert last concert in Oslo at Maiden. It was too repetitios! Even for EBM!

They are techno, because techno isn't really a type of music (in a sense) - it's a big blanket that covers all of the subgenres like electronica (comonly mistaken for techno), dance, hall, etc. When someone doesn't know what genre something with synth in it is called, they say techno.

well, goth seems to have a darker sound, and abmeince and shit, and techno is slightly granier, but it isnt techno, its actually a form of industrial, which is more rythm based and more distorted, like, it dosnt sound like NIN, a different type of industrial. theres lots of names for it, and everyone is aruging over it, i just call it industrial. =) its also fuckin' awesome, so i call it that too =P

They were just at 1st Ave. MN about a week ago, I am so mad i missed it. My friends that went said that Combichrist was awesome but KMFDM wasn't the best. They said it would have been better if KMFDM had played some of their older stuff because we personally don't like the new stuff that much :)

I saw them at st pete and in orlando.  If you mean REALLY old then no there wasent much old stuff. They did play more and faster though. The old stuff i was talking about were mid carrer like ANGST and XTORT. I also consider ADIOS to be old. Guess it depends on your point of view.
