I play Balrog, and Sagat is his hardest match by far. Do I think he's cheap?

He has a lot of good tools, but he also has a huge hitbox, poor footsies at close range, and a 5-frame reversal which means you can jump in on him all day after a knockdown.
And Blanka just plain sucks ass, you can jab/sweep/throw him out of Electricity spam and his tools are crap.
Cheapness is an illusion created by scrubs to let them pass the buck when they lose to something.

Blanka has special moves. He can hop back and forth by hitting (I believe) forward+KKK or Back+KKK or Down+KKK (This brings him really close to the ground).
While the Blanka player is good, there's probalby a much better player lurking in the dark somewhere. And even the greatest players (Iyo, Mago, Daigo) lost every once an again. no big deal
I don't want to take anything away from her, but this seems like a rather weak mago showing. I don't doubt that she is good, but mago just didn't seem like his usual self and was missing on certain combo/defenses that he normally connects with.
But yeah i agree. She's a good blanka player, infact i don't think I've seen a better blanka player anywhere. But I've seen mago play a MUCH better sagat then what he played in this match.

Yeah. I think it's great if mago was going all out and she stomped him but from the level of play we have seen from him in tournaments that just doesn't seem to be the case... I hope she does well. Evo will be holding a female only tournament so that should hopefully generate more interest in the street fighter series to females.

There is no need for seperation in gaming since it isnt reflected on physical attributes...and in all honesty there will never ome a time in the future that we will see as many high level gal fighters as we will guy fighters. Even choco is not what i would consider a trully" high level" blanka player, she's good but I think there is some mad overhype here.
There is definitely some over hype on eventhubs and in the comment section. If she is a true pro then she will continue to get better and not be swayed by what people are saying about her.
I just think that the girl only tournament is good because hopefully a lot of the girls will be newbies and will actually have a chance where as in if they were up against people like daigo and mago they wouldn't.
Well I dont think it sets a good standard, the girls will never get good if they keep getting put in the kiddies pool and the only real way to get good is to fight off agaisnt the pro's. Choco is the best chance the gals have now, but even then I would say she is only a good player but not something out of this earth like the forum boys say...or certainly not something to the degree of the SF Gods.

it's true. A comment is not racist if it applies 100% to the person or situation it is being spoken to. A racist comment is one that generalizes someone with all negative stereotypes and ideas regarding that race without any proof or understanding as to why that person does or does not fit within it.
Godzzzson has proven on multiple accounts why he fits the bill in its entirety. Besides, calling him a nigger was originally to make a point, it's unfortunate he showed he deserved the title.

Blanka has special moves. He can hop back and forth by hitting (I believe) forward+KKK or Back+KKK or Down+KKK (This brings him really close to the ground).
Doing this causes blanka to pass through players.

I don't want to take anything away from her, but this seems like a rather weak mago showing. I don't doubt that she is good, but mago just didn't seem like his usual self and was missing on certain combo/defenses that he normally connects with.

I don't really keep up with the players in SF4 like I do in 3s or SF2, but there is probably some jap high level blanka way better then this that Im forgetting to mention lol. Anyhow, she is a good player but I just get this bad feeling like he was slightly sandbagging a little....I dunno but I guess we wont know how good she really is untill she places high in tournies.

Yeah. I think it's great if mago was going all out and she stomped him but from the level of play we have seen from him in tournaments that just doesn't seem to be the case... I hope she does well. Evo will be holding a female only tournament so that should hopefully generate more interest in the street fighter series to females.

@thecreepyguy: That evo invitation to gals will be kind of pointless IMO. There is no need for seperation in gaming since it isnt reflected on physical attributes...and in all honesty there will never ome a time in the future that we will see as many high level gal fighters as we will guy fighters. Even choco is not what i would consider a trully" high level" blanka player, she's good but I think there is some mad overhype here.

There is definitely some over hype on eventhubs and in the comment section. If she is a true pro then she will continue to get better and not be swayed by what people are saying about her.
I just think that the girl only tournament is good because hopefully a lot of the girls will be newbies and will actually have a chance where as in if they were up against people like daigo and mago they wouldn't.

Well I dont think it sets a good standard, the girls will never get good if they keep getting put in the kiddies pool and the only real way to get good is to fight off agaisnt the pro's. Choco is the best chance the gals have now, but even then I would say she is only a good player but not something out of this earth like the forum boys say...or certainly not something to the degree of the SF Gods.

Okay I admit though I play SFIV regularly I don't want too many tournament videos of it (I'm a SF3 and SC man); but OMG i didn't know you could do some of these things with Blanka, like the dash through int ultra. It makes sense but, WOW lady you kick ass!
