my friend george looks and acts just like bender, if bender was puerto rican and had black hair instead of brown. the nose is identical though.

Though the scene later gets emotional, the one part I hated was how Emilio's character fails to take responsibility for his actions. Claiming his dad made him do it because his father "pushes him"

His father never told him to bully other students, yet alone do that, so it was never his father ot blame, it was HIS OWN FAULT and failed to take responsibility to it.

Just an observation.

@Dmasterman that is true, but it should be pointed out that his dad always pushed him to be this macho alpha male.

His dad pushed him to be a better athlete and be a man. Not pick on others to be a man. For some reason his character felt that by picking on another student he could be Macho.

Either way, even if his dad was pushing him to be better, his character never said he was sorry or regretted it or took responsibility on it. He took the easy way out and said "It was my dad's fault."

@Dmasterman Your right even if his dad did push him, he's at that age where he should be able to turn round and be his own person and not be afraid to do what he want's, think too many kids end up unhappy because of this.

@MeBenHalpin He shoulda took responsibility. No one made him do his actions but himself. When I first saw this scene I was waiting for him to say that he regretted doing it himself. Instead he says "I wish my dad wouldn't push me and my leg would break so it wouldn't happen", big deal. He should've said that he wanted his leg to break so he could never play and Larry could outshine him.

@LiloPelakai Also just because his dad 'made him that way it was still his choice whether to do this to Larry or not. His dad never told him to do thish to Larry, he decided this and his only remorse was "I wish i broke my leg so I'd hurt my dad's feelings". Who said it was ok for John?
