  • anyone else think it is interesting that in the first innings both teams got over 500 and in the 2nd neither made 200?

  • Cricket is gay. Euro pricks say it takes more talent. Baseball players hit harder, throw harder, and have boundaries so we have to do everything with precision. cricket pitchers have to take a running start to throw anywhere close to what pro pitchers throw, and its not hard to spin a ball and make it break, especially if its bounced and has the ground to make it bite. 5th graders can do that. cricket is only more popular because it can be played with a 2x4 and a rock in 3rd world countries

  • @Thag20

You have no idea, you idiot.

Cricket players have to bowl with a straight arm, unlike baseball players. That is much harder to throw. Cricket players don't get 3 chances to hit a ball. And you try spinning a ball a metre or more when bowling 100 km/h, with a straight arm. Batters also have to judge how a ball will bounce. Cricket players don't need gloves to catch a ball even thought cricket balls are harder.

Also, don't come on a cricket video just to pay it out.

  • @Thag20 Cricket is such a better game then baseball -- hence why its much more popular on a global scale. Anyone can go play a game of baseball and pick it up straight away, cricket requires so much skill and concentration. Cricketers don't use gloves to field and baseball batters don't have to concentrate for up to 10 hours at the crease and there are many more ways to get out. Pitchers don't have to run in all day in the sun and bowl up to 20 overs in a day. You don't know anything

  • @Thag20 listen here buster since you don't know about cricket shut the fuck up.

  • @Thag20

Hahahaha, in cricket players hit it harder and throw harder. Cricket you must stay concentrated in the middle for up to 8 hours for one innings, and no you don't get 3 strikes you get one and your back in the pavilion. Cricket you bowl with a straight arm which is much harder than simply throwing it, players have to be better in the field, faster, stronger and mentally tougher, where a baseball game goes for 4 hours a cricket test goes for 5 days............

  • was this filmed by a toaster

  • thumbs up if u think the test Australia v India where Clarke took 3 wickets in the final over to win the game was the real best game ever

  • got the dvd to this game, awsome game :)

  • Can't wait to see Pat Cummins and James Pattinson in the English conditions. Bring on the ashes 2013!!!

  • they need warne atm

  • Boony army, boony army

  • greatest australian team ever. no doubt

  • great game England are still better.

  • @0engima0 England are better at the moment. Australia were better then and for over 30 years prior to that. Stop making yourself look like a stupid dickhead by saying crap like that.

  • @Firefly0100 I said England "ARE" still better.

Hey, if you were molested by your father when you were young.

You don't have to prove it to the world.

  • @0engima0 You are a complete and utter idiot. Are you that stupid that you can't come up with an intelligent response that you have to say something ridiculous like that. You are are sad, petty, pathetic person. You said England are still better in response to the game that the dickheads were annihilated in. You absoulte tool.

  • i will never forget this match!

  • God of spin!!!

  • @sanastela Yup, and the poms think Swann is a worthy comparison, hahaha!, my arse has more talent than swann!

  • @85Aheadstix Swann is an excellent bowler, possibly the best spinner in world cricket at the moment. If your arse has more talent, I suggest you leave it to medical science so it can be examined.

  • @zingzangspillip1 Hahahahahahahah, dont make me laugh!, Swanna the best spinner at the momet!??, BULLSHIT!.

Love to see him up against the man that Warnie called "excellent!!' Nathan lyon!, taking 5/34 on debut, beat that pom!.

Watch out poms, the next Warnie is coming, that equals another 20 years of pain for you guys!.

  • @85Aheadstix Who would you say is a better spinner in the world at the moment?

  • @zingzangspillip1 Well i dont know, but certainly not a average casual spinner like Swann!, Our latest spinner Nathan lyon who on debut got 5/34 could be a good start though.

  • @85Aheadstix Nathan Lyon is certainly very talented. Let's hope he can do well in our summer on our pitches. He did very well in his first Test, but that was a very spin-friendly pitch. He'll be lucky to find a pitch like that again soon, given that the ICC gave the pitch a reprimand.

  • @zingzangspillip1 Hmmm well i dunno, the story behind him is quite amazing though, he was a grounds keeper at adelaide oval and they saw him do fiew bowls and decided to get him in i think.

  • @85Aheadstix Yes, he came to South Australia from the ACT in a bid to play state cricket. He couldn't get a game for one of the club sides, but was given a job as ground staff. Pretty amazing, but he still needs to prove that he's good enough. South Africa will be a good test.

  • @zingzangspillip1 What and 5/34 is not a good piece of proof?.

  • martynn impressed by scoring 5 ???

  • @ashhh87 that was hussey cheering at the end because he won the test for Australia

  • @Shifty581 the commentator says martynn got his chance to impress and certainly did, then he says he was then out for 5

    2:05

  • to all americans! cricket is a bit like baseball but with more hitting freedom and more frequent runs it's fast paced but it can be incredibly slow paced (just like baseball) if you ever come down to australia in the summer go check a game out and if you want straight up non stop action watch a 20/20 game

  • @ClassyTricks Can you describe "hitting freedom"?

  • @TKDLION more places to hit unlike the foul zones in baseball

  • @ClassyTricks That makes it sound easier for hitters than baseball is.

  • @TKDLION that's not a bad thing it makes it more exciting and fielders can be put anywhere

  • this game looks confusing as hell, wish they played it here in america so i could understand it better :\

  • cricfan . niceboard . com

  • 00:10.....a handful of balls?

  • Thats the Aussie team i miss.....

  • plz like it

  • this only confuses me

  • Which pixels were the Aussies?

  • I understand how you feel nanothequex. I didn't care about cricket until my mom said she wanted to see the cricket world cup. So I put it online for her and I started watching. she told me the rules and everything, and I was addictid into cricket. Man I hate the fact that I was born into the U.S.

  • @vai570 Same with me. I didn't use to like cricket but after the world cup, i'm crazy about it! I'm lucky i'm an indian and you must be knowing that a majority, almost all indians are cricket fans and i can play cricket here everyday! I feel sad for you.Good luck finding a nice spot to play.

  • This Sport is gay....

  • @extremejigeyjango2 ur gay!this sport rocks!!

  • @MyChris202 No it doesn't rock....It sucks...just like your mom when she was givin me a blowjob for 20 bucks...why dont all of you cricket people just go and start lickin eachothers penises....bye...

  • I'm homesick for baseball, now.

  • Who is the commentator at 1.51?

  • @alpacinoravidutt

    Bill Lawry - legend !!

  • @UFOAnswers

    exactly thank you.

  • @85Aheadstix

    haha underhand

  • @etonchavs

    chat up

  • This game isn't popular in the US because Americans consider themselves distinctly non-European and this game is definately European. Goes back to our early roots. I would like to learn how the hell this game is played though. iT looks interesting.

  • @pucksterz12 Thats probably why your all such morons.

  • @samf6287 ur gay , try hitting a ball thats coming 80 to 90 mph

  • @enriqueee121 Sorry to be anal, but, erm, it come at that speed in cricket. And its not all about power and speed. Theres something that americans know nothing about; its called intricacy...

  • @etonchavs sorry to be anal too, but not all off baseballs pitching is about power and speed. Yes, there are fastballs (4 seam, 2 seam, cutter) but there are also all the breaking pitches (curveball, slider, sinker, screwball, knuckleball, palmball, change-up) There is a huge difference between trying to hit a 94mph fastball and a 76mph curveball that breaks several feet. i love baseball, but i have watched cricket and would enjoy to watch more. it is hard to find out here in california though.

  • @enriqueee121 Lol fail

  • @enriqueee121 Pfft!, cricket balls are bowled faster than that!, the fastest bowler ever was Australias own Jeff "Thommo" Thompson, he bowled at over 160 Kmp, thats like 120 mph!, no base ball pitcher can bowl that fast!, not even roid head drug cheat Rodriguez!, infact you guys imported an ex aussie fast bowler with an average delivery of 99 mph for one of your baseball leagues.

  • @85Aheadstix

Your comment is ridiculous mate. In baseball the pitcher doesn't have a running start, he just stands there, winds up, then pitches the ball. In cricket the bowler has a running start, then bowls the ball at the ground. The speed of the baseball is recored just feet in front of the plate, the speed of a cricket ball is registered before it hits the ground. Of course a cricket ball is going to be faster. Running start+earlier speed radar+heavier ball=more speed. Simple Science.

  • My gosh, the baseball vs cricket arguement is so stupid, I'm Asian and American and I like both. UK cricket fans just act like pompous snobs and US baseball fans act ignorant. Their both sports, just enjoy them.

  • the 61 people who disliked this video are obviously Poms =)

  • from 5-0 to 3-1..... to england!

  • Cricket is a gentlemanly game and respected by majority of the people in the WORLD. Baseball normally played by school kids (Girls) which is called Rounders. Of course it is the shittiest game in the world.

    Sam001

  • Thumbs up if, when clicking this video, someone was going to get hit.

  • Baseball fans who are hating on cricket and cricket fans hating on baseball - you do realize that your stupidity is just helping the other side, right? They're both great games with incredibly rich histories. If you don't like one, you don't have to watch it.

  • a truely spectacular match but i wudnt call it the best game. the best match wud have to be the final of the australasian cup 1996 pakistan vs india.

  • as a Thoroughbred englishman, i have to say, cricket is the shittest game ever, fuck knows how i got here. i'm off to sip tea and eat crumpets while mining for coal. good day.

  • The title is ironic, considering the game is the worst sport ever.

  • @nodappu yes the 2nd most popular in the world is the worst sport ever. good thinking there dickhead

  • @nabilion My mistake.. Cricket is way more thrilling than curling.

  • @nodappu just shut up dickhead

  • @nabilion ah.. NOW I'm convinced.

  • 5 whole days of watching people run back and forth between sticks? Count me in!!

  • cricket sucks, football rocks forever

  • @bosspillow U suck

  • I played cricket once and I love it! I want to play more of this amazing sport =)

  • how the FUCK do you play cricket....baseball is easier to understand

  • @griffur1 No baseball is very hard to understand

  • @weirdosack Baseball makes perfect sense. Cricket is all backwards.

  • i was at this game... IT WAS EPIC!

  • Now i want to play cricket....... Ugh why did i have to be born in the U.S.

  • @nanothequex Is Cricket getting more popular over there? Hopefully 20/20 will have an impact...

  • @0121zero Don't get your hopes up. 20/20 is killing the game.

  • @0121zero Naw, a majority of people probably never heard or seen cricket on sports channels, its mainly about baseball, basketball, and football. I'd be pretty cool to see the 20/20's live.

  • @nanothequex I think New Zealand are touring the US again soon? I think they're playing a couple 20/20s in Florida.... Im lucky i live in England, i watch county 20/20 alot live.... When its not raining lol

  • @nanothequex haha dont worry u always got baseball

  • @nanothequex Dont worry , u will B there in around 20 years , though u wont be one of the stronger teams ( eg , rankwise : Australia , India , Sri Lanka , South Africa , England , Pakistan , New Zealand & The west Indies )

  • @nanothequex

Dude, you're lucky- cricket is shit.

  • @nanothequex I'm Indian, and I set up a league type thing at my high school. All of my friends born in the US play as well. They've actually gotten good!

  • @nanothequex just google it, there is cricket in U.S

  • @nanothequex dud esame with me

  • @nanothequex Well..... AT least we have Bill Gates!

  • @nanothequex ... if you just wanna learn cricket, there is cricket team in every state in U.S u go to.. the city area i live in now, we got about 5 teams arnd it. and many throughout the whole state. its good to try cricket out.

  • @nanothequex Well you could get your chance, baseballs been replaced by cricket in the next Olympics in 2012.

  • @nanothequex Join the United States national cricket team then if you like cricket

  • Ah - here's all the Aussies still commenting still yacking about this test - Enjoying a bit of ancient history.

  • @longbendy81 Hahaha, your just jealous, and so what!?, the only reason you guys won so easily is because our best players retired!, but we have a new spinner, one who took 5/34 on debut, hes gonna kick swanns average arse.

    You poms still suck.

  • @longbendy81 Hahaha, yeah only cos your cricket history is shit, you'll never have Warnie!, so go suck a pasty white dick, pommy cunt!.

  • no one knows anything about cricket..... its because it looks like a waste of time

  • @Eaglesboi95 no one knows about cricket? surely you mean america doesn't know anything about cricket.

  • @trinikagekavir Most Americans know nothing about cricket. It's not played over here so we have no contact with it.

  • hehe mate...do you rememner what tht Ashes were? befor tht the 20/20 worlf cup ?

  • i am totally confused on how to play cricket......

  • Prayer : Please STOP CBI and CIA from contaminating lives of civilians through out so called democracies...

  • We have a game here in the UK that is the same as baseball. Its called Rounders and it is played by girls that are still in school. So i think that is enough said about baseball.

  • Play LIVE ! Play FREE ! /watch?v=SKteGpQwaHI and /watch?v=eeNuYtwU0YA The game allows players to perform exaggerated, gravity-defying action moves, including wall running, stunning, tumbling, and blocking bullets with swords, in the style of action movies and anime. ! It has over 1 million registered users ! Over 10 different game modes, from fighting with and or against other players to fighting against monster ! website is gunz.ijji.com
  • God, hahaha. i can understand why people should fight over these things. haha. and some would say some sport is better then the other. darn. anyways, wish i could play this sport in my country. looks kinda interesting and maybe i might find it fun. i find baseball fun but i play softball. im starting to like these bat and ball sports. the only sport i really know how to play is football (soccer).

  • How times have changed

  • @pierre45a Nah, don't worry, we got Lyon now.

  • australia had:

    matt hayden

    ricky ponting (in form)

    adam gilchrist

    damien martyn

    glenn mcgrath

    shane warne

it was only because of these players that made australia dominating. take them away, and they're just another ordinary team

  • @50RpJ thats like saying, take away all of englands good players and they are an ordinary team too

u cant just say, they had good players so they didnt deserve to win

  • @ShadowNeonKid no i'm not trying to justify it in that way. what i'm saying is, in australia's case, they had so many good players they were dominant. u take out one player, another new guy comes in and has experience as if he's played at that level before. but if u see what's happening now, most of them have retired, and aus aren't finding their rhythm. that's not saying they're an ordinary team, any team can beat any other team when it is their day.

  • @50RpJ obviously...take tendulkar and sehwag away from india and they are ordinary, take cook, peiterson and anderson away from england and they are ordinary, take murali and sangakarra away from sri lanka and they are ordinary. Australia had 5 or 6 players like this and that made them extrordinary.

  • @50RpJ . Thats the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. Basically what you're saying is, if you take all the good players away from a team they arent as good as they were before. No shit, you are a dickhead

  • Maybe you should have a look at the people behind them? Stuart Magill, Jason Gillespie, Darren Lehman, Andrew Symonds, not to mention all the guys like Martin Love, Phil Jaques, Brad Hodge that couldn't even get a game. A full strength 2nd XI in 2006 would have looked like Phil Jaques Michael Divenuto Brad Hodge Martin Love Simon Katich Darren Lehmann Brad Haddin Andy Bichel Stuart Macgill Jason Gillespie Michael Kasprowicz That team would have rolled England in 2006-7 and 10-11.
  • warnie is the diff

if warne was playing id watch every single ball like i used to

  • @ReggieRhoden

I have watched nfl and i like it

But u are a stuck Up, prick

  • nice

  • I went to the Adelaide oval today and watched England finish off Australia :this match seems a long time ago now.

  • Best cricket game ever? Obviously not old enough to remember Headingley 1981(Botham and Willis), or you've chosen to forget the 2 run England victory at Edgbaston 2005. They were GREAT matches which could have gone either way until the last ball!

  • and yeah yeah... i realise i wrote world twice before someone points it out

  • such a good test... was a great series in all.

How good was the Aussie team then, Warne, McGrath, Glichrist, Hayden, Lee all firing. Some great summer times spent watching Warnie bowl. A true legend, but that team was just unreal

  • This is dumb, no wonder Americans modified it and called it base ball. ITS BORING

  • @ReggieRhoden hey, just because you don't have the mental strength to comprehend this sport doesn't mean you should call it boring and dumb.

  • @nabilion Go watch American football pussy

  • @ReggieRhoden how am i pussy? Also sorry, im not stupid enough to waste my money and time watching a 3 hour nfl broadcast for only 12 minutes of actual game tim. But i can understand how a dumbass like you can fall for flashy nfl marketing ploys.

  • @ReggieRhoden mate take off the pads and watch rugby pussy. btw truth is, Baseball is sissy version of cricket. I know baseball bro and all those innings is just plain bullshit. In cricket we dont play that bullshit we have one inning and we make the MOST of it.

  • @UgaBugaWoga Ya, well I hate both baseball AND cricket so suck my dick. And who cares if they wear pads in football? HAVE YOU SEEN THESE FUCKERS!? You got a 5'10 200lb. guy running like a fuckin gazelle and smashing into a 6'8 420 lbs. block of pure muscle. and these guys use their pads mostly as weapons rather than personal protection. Rugby is a bunch of middle sized guys throwing each other around fighting over a ball. Football takes a lot more strength and skill.

  • @ReggieRhoden If you noticed, this is a video about cricket, not football

  • @ReggieRhoden yeah and if a gridiron player break his finger how long do they sit out for???? LOL

skill WHAT SKILL u muffin? i'll be droppin bombs on you like pearl harbour, oh yeah i said it.

  • @UgaBugaWoga I've broken a finger in a football gamee and played another 2 quarters fag. If Im pearl harbor that must make you hiroshima. BITCH

  • @ReggieRhoden waaat oh i know ur talkin shit now LOL

  • @ReggieRhoden remember they only play 6 minutes a game. Wouldn't call that athletic.

  • @nabilion What? football games usually last 1:30 to 2 hours and they give it everything they got every play.

  • @ReggieRhoden nope, there is on average 70 plays in an nfl game. On average they are 10 seconds each. Due to the fact nfl players can't handle attacking and defending at the same time that is 6 minutes per game.

  • @nabilion Well its still better than cricket... which aint saying much. And there are about 60 plays in a single quarter. fucking troll, get yor facts straight. 70 plays in a GAME!?.. such bullshit nonsense

  • @ReggieRhoden nope, google ''average nfl playing time, wall street journal''. Click the wsj article result and you will see the playing time. if you say they are a possible 280 plays in a game. That means that on average each play is only 2 seconds. Doesn't really make sense?

  • @nabilion At least its not a bunch of english poofs playing ball and stick.

  • @ReggieRhoden you do realize americans play cricket and another sport with a ball and a stick?

  • @nabilion I dont give a shit. I only like football and basketball

  • @ReggieRhoden mate you lost cricket smashes NFL which is a sport for such pussies that they need protective equipment that can withstand a car crash. Look at rugby league and rugby union. I think you american pussies should learn from those sports

  • @TheNertsae Maybe you should actually PLAY football before opening your fat mouth. We played cricket during our P.E. hour. Its no fun. just lots of rules and regulations with no fun. Its even worse to watch. Id rather watch golf or pool, or rugby.

  • @ReggieRhoden haha can't wait to play a stupid pussy american sport and put my body weight of padding on so I can watch someone throw a ball or get head butted. And if you play cricket for 1 hour and learn everything n that hour it wont be much fun because there are lots of different rules. Maybe you should actually play cricket properly before opening your "fat mouth". Btw i have played NFL and in my opinion it is a poor excuse for a sport. I would much rather play any other sport in the world.

  • @TheNertsae The field we play one is nothing but packed dirt and a few uprises of grass, complete with rocks and gravel all over it. The pads you wear in the NFL are so you can hit harder without injuring yourself or others, its SMART. And someone gets hurt almost every football game. We wear no pads around our ribs and a friend of mine took a sprinting helmet straight to the gut and broke six of his ribs and his lung almost collapsed. You aint seen shit until you've seen real grit football.

  • @ReggieRhoden i think american football requires great strength and skill, however, the idea that a player can fulfil their position's requirements and contribute to the team, without even touching the ball during the game, is quite bizzare

  • @SpawnofChaos2010 Ya,,, I guess the only non-controversial sports that I actually like are Hockey and Basketball. lol

  • @SpawnofChaos2010 nah roids.

  • Comment removed

  • @ReggieRhoden i would just like to point out that you got ripped a new arsehole! That is all

  • @sec24 what? your an idiot. If Cricket is so great than how come football is more famous, has more viewers, more players, and is all around more loved than any other sport when they only play 6 minutes per game. I think thats rips the game of a cricket a new "arsehole".

  • @ReggieRhoden hahahahha you just proved what an ignorant american you truely are with that statement... way to live up to every stereotype about americans

just cause american football is popular in the states doesnt mean it is everywhere else, cricket would actually be the worlds second biggest sport in the world after soccer... and american football, way way down the list

  • @sec24 oh fuck, your right about soccer but cricket is still fucking stupid and not intense in the least

  • @ReggieRhoden haha i didnt bother reading all of your comments but i already gather you are an ignorant prick

  • @Jagwa3 just shut up troll. you dont even know

  • @ReggieRhoden Your aggressive comment further backs up my hypothesis. How am i in any way Trolling?

  • @ReggieRhoden also cricket is the second most played sport in the world.

  • @ReggieRhoden yet cricket is the 2nd most popular sport in the world. You see money made from cricket is used to buy land make new cricket grounds, clubs coaching facilities and overall infrastructure. American football, has no place to spend the money except within america. Hence why nfl players get paid so much and Universities have 100,000 seat stadiums. The amount of assets cricket has over the world is light years ahead of the NFL.

  • @ReggieRhoden then why watch and comment on it?

  • @LightPrecursor63 Because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. My Australian friend always talks cricket on facebook and I want to learn what he is saying.

  • @ReggieRhoden baseball was modified of rounders wasn't it?

  • @ReggieRhoden Its the second most popular sport on earth!, Basbeall is not, what do you think of that?

Plus baseballs been given the arse from the next games in favour of a real sport!.....Cricket!

So deal with it!. Americans just changed cricket because cricket requires skill and baseball is just an over rated half time show.

    Just like their "football".

  • @85Aheadstix Popularity does not equal greatness. It is not surprising that an English sport will be more popular than an American one due to British imperialism.

Baseball didn't come from cricket. It came from townball.

Saying that baseball doesn't require skill and that it isn't a real sport just shows everybody that you are 1)ignorant about baseball, 2)prejudiced against America, or 3)insecure and make yourself feel better by insulting others

  • @85Aheadstix Bringing up football is a rather obvious attempt to deflect attention away from the topic. I am an American but I am not a football fan. I am a baseball fan. It is my favorite sport but I do not tell people that my sport is better than theirs.

  • @TKDLION Are you kidding?, thats all you yanks do!, all i heard was how good the superbowl is and thats its wastched by the most people on earth!, but thats bullshit!, more people watched the world cup!, Hence the "world" bit, but you yanks think you are the world!.

Hell the deconf most watched show was Top Gear UK.

Have fun playing cricket in the next Olympics as its replacing baseball, you'll need it.

  • @85Aheadstix First of all, yank is outdated and you are not using it correctly either. A Yankee is someone from one of the northen colonies (New England especially.) And the terms 250 years old. Can't the British come up with something fresher. If you are going to insult someone at least do it with some style.

  • @TKDLION Tsk tsk, when will you yanks learn that we dont give a shit about what part we are refering to!

Its simply a derrogatory term to describe you!, just as we would all say Brits or Aussies, none of it is referring to any part of the country!.
