  • excelente solo que a mi gusto si el tempo lo redugeran un poco se oiria mejor, ya que es tan rapido que no se alcanza a distinguir bien los acompañamientos y los arreglos a 3 pianos.

    si la tocaran un poquito mas lenta se oiria muy espectacular.

    les digo eso porque a mi me pasa eso con la del entertainer si la toco muy rapido no lo alcanzan a apresiar el publico, pero un poco mas lento es fantastica...

  • @Carloscemc91 You may be correct. Certainly I play it more slowly myself, but that's because I cannot play it faster.

    On the other hand, I enjoy hearing it played at all sorts of speeds. It becomes a different piece when played as these guys did, where you can hear some of Hodges' percussive ornamentation being addressed to entire phrases.

    Joplin said that it is not right to play ragtime fast. I would disagree, and say it is not right to overlook ragtime played slowly.
