I know the pain and fear that goes along with raising a premature baby, especially the first few months or in our case the first 2 years. Constantly in the hospital with respitory infections etc....
It was our faith that got us through, My son is not 13 and as healty as a horse. You'd never know he was only 2 pounds 9 ounces at birth. God Bless and know that whatever you go through in life, God is there get you through it.
I pray he will grow up big and strong ^_^. I was a 24-week preemie, and besides being in NICU for three months, I was perfectly fine. I'm 18 now :). Preemies unite! <3

a preemie is a baby that has been born before the 36th week. The baby is not prepared to be born before then as the body is not done growing and developing. For instance with my son, his lungs were not developed so he needed machines to breath for him, his brain was not developed so he developed brain bleeds which are the small immature blood vessels in the brain breaking and bleeding. He has a lot of health problems from not being able to develop like he needed.

My little niece, Rebecca, was born 3 months premature. I thought of her the very first time it came out. I remember standing next to her incubator, praying for God to save her, as she fought for each tiny little breath. Today, she is a happy, healthy 6 year old girl.
I wuld jus like to say that im 16, female and I also suffer from Cerebral Palsy affecting my walking very much. This was also due to being born at 26 weeks. I live a very normal life, im in main stream school with a load of friends. as long as you give him the support which im sure u will. and LET HIM find out what he can and cant do himself as he gets older. he will be absoulty fine. All my love xxxx

myself and many of my siblings were all born premature and had some medical complications..but me being 19 and them both 15 now..we are living proof that MIRACLES DO HAPPEN :)

He now has Cerebral Palsy, missing parts of his brain due to the brain bleeds, lung disease, and many more problems. This song means a lot to me because no one seems to know a life expectancy with all of his complications, and it is a Miracle he has lived this long.
Isn't God wonderful and merciful? His miracles never cease to amaze me. As long as I've been a believer and a minister, I am encouraged to hear of these types of stories. Having gone through an experience where I've almost lost my own son, I totally understand how this songs means so much to you... as it does me. I will pray especially for your son's continued health and development. God bless you!

a ok as he can be, he has many many delays, but since it's all he knows, he doesn't even seem to notice. He is still very happy! :)
