  • How fast can human fingers move? Ask your mom...

  • half the point of these exercises is to bring clarity and precision to your playing, not to produce a mindless blur of notes

  • I can play those warmups that fast, try playing an actual piece though

  • You are loooooooooser :)

  • you play hanon you fucking idiot----play chopin prelude op 28 nr 16 and show us your talent

  • Tocar rapido no significa tocar bien.

  • Please, can anybody tell me a reason for that???

  • honestly, this is terrible.

  • It actually sounds pretty good, and I am no pianist, but you might love the piano guy videos. Especially the Harry Potter theme =P

  • nop

  • this isn't the way this exercise is supposed to be played

  • 0:09 - thats what she said . . .

  • If only it sounded good =P

  • What a dumb test when you have 8 fingers and 2 thumbs. 20 keys per second is very easy. hmm whats that 10 and 10 every 0.5sec = 20 keys/sec.

  • Chuck Norris have 8762876543876528376284365874658347658347658376582374652387465938274 Notes per 0,000000000000000000000001 Seconds!

  • dude what you did here is just crap!!!! worth nothing, meaningless,no melody no nothing even if it was hard it would worth nothing, but its not. its not about the speed its the fealling(but if speed is your THING you have alot of work ahead ) WAZAAAAA

  • 20 nps, 10 fingers per hand, 2 hands = 2 notes per second per finger. Im not a piano player but is Not a big deal.

  • it wasn't 12 seconds, it was 13 seconds, the 'Done!' counted as an extra second dumbo

  • just saying one thing, JORDAN RUDESS

  • LoL that's the first exercise of Hanon, my piano exercise book

  • Just came here from Yuja Wang... This looks basic O.O

  • this is not a piece of music if it's an exercise, this is from Hanon. and for those who called it garbage, it certainly isn't garbage.

  • 54 notes per second on guitar hero lol

  • i could do more than that. ( just press as many notes as you can on the piano )

  • he's just randomly pressing all the keys - he's just lucky...

  • Hey the whole purpose of playing Hanon is to practice two hands together to press same key in different octaves, which this person is failing. Faster play in Hanon is meaningless although effort is great.

  • It would be impressive with 20 notes/ finger...

  • @youngc11111 lmao

  • lmao 20 not 19.4

  • no seas mamon!

  • I reach 21 notes/second with only my left hand (playing 3 notes at once :p )

  • its more like 10 notes cause he's using octaves of the same notes.

  • Get a metronome dude!!!

  • yeah u guess on paper its a lot, but its a repetative continuation of notes. not that difficult. Liszts 3rd quarter of Hungarian Rhaps no.2 is far more difficult.

  • 20 notes with 10 fingers juste 2 notes per second per finger it s very very slow

  • I think you should spend more time playing works rather than concentrate on speed playing Hanon... Moreover, Clarity is the key word here... As Hanon himself prescribes playing it between 60 and 108 crotchets a minute. But yes, for the record, YOU ARE FAST!!!

  • @Kersigazdar Now, try playing the rest of the exercises at the same speed . . . Lol !

  • Chuck Norris can do it using only a finger!

    hahahahaha.....

    DagMusic96@

true, the expression in much more important....

  • the velocity isn't all... the expression is much more important...

  • Comment removed

  • he must be a jedi. not because of his speed because of the lightsaber below his video

  • i could do that

i could do that with a dog leg and, blind folded!..ok maybe not blind folded lol

  • if you want to show off, at least do it properly

  • @T0XXIN what a comment! well said

  • @T0XXIN I think the main reason you say that is because he's so arrogant and self-centered about it. He shouldn't have titled it, "... Speed RECORD". A little misleading. He's not that bad though lol

  • all of you are haters this is awesome i cant do it so i think this is fuckng amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yep, he's asian

  • This is great! Hannon always was my favourite part of my piano lessons. Never quite got up to THIS speed though...very cool!

  • I'm sorry but I gotta defend this guy. If any one of you people can play this faster stop whining and post it. it's not about the beauty of the music.it's a simple excersise, nothing complicated. and it wasn't spectacular, but how the hell is it horrible?

  • @Duskwarrior308 because of the fact that he calls it a record, if i tell you i can coock and make you a nice pasta you won't complain, if i say im seriously one of the best coocks of the world and i make you the same pasta, ofcourse you are gonna complain.

  • @Duskwarrior308 AGREED!!

  • @Duskwarrior308 I can... but don't. I study at one of the world's leading music conservatoire and play faster than this on a daily basis. Do we sit around all day seeing how fast we can play? No, we sit for 4 hours a day creating music with emotion and passion from our hearts, and not trying to impress ameteurs with speed.

  • haha you'd better play real music , instead of showing your "skills"..this is so lame dude..

  • why this

  • How is that a speed record?

  • I came here to see 20 notes per second, not 19.4

  • @youngc11111 splitting hairs I see! lol.

  • I would've got my fingers tangled up

    :P

  • Yikes

  • Cool...I can play Hannon too...

  • This is an amazing video. I just have to know where the amazing part is.

  • So why does the title say "20 notes per second" if you only did 19?

  • bad shit

  • 232 + 1 = 233??? Good just double checking...

  • que gran y pestilente mierda...!!!!

  • yeah sure...

  • hanon excercise # 1 ...

  • that's quite fast but accuracy...?

    0/10

  • How fast can the human fingers move, i here you ask? Well your mum knows the answer to that one...

  • hannon

  • Hiromi Uehara and Yuja Wang do this before they're even warmed up

  • C'est nul, ta vidéo ne correspond pas du tout avec ton titre !

  • @TheUnknownWords You, sir, have the mind of over 9000!!!!

  • can you play the next exercises

  • You suck

  • lol it looks like he reversed the video

  • Comment removed

  • this is dumb, if u are doing it like this, u can just use all 10 fingers at once and hit it twice fast, in one second easily, thats a 20

  • stupid shit

  • no studies please -.-

  • Your passages seem to be not so exact, sorry:)

So you may play just accords with 5 notes per accord (or more pushing 2 notes per finger) and play 6-7 accords per second.

So you will increase your speed to 30-40 notes per second :DD

  • i can do 100 notes by second if i lie on the pianonotes =)

  • @FR2darkflames 88 keys on a piano :L

  • Boring!!! - He's playing Hannon's Finger Excersise page 1. WHoopy!

  • you know it's not a computer keybord to count notes per second

  • yeah and? you got 10 fingers right? so you basically pressed 2 notes with each fingers in 1 seconds... well, that is, as far as i know, nothing impressive..

  • lol hanon exercise.....

  • this isn't the way this exercise is supposed to be played!!!!

  • more like 233/12.8 which = 18.2 try again, this time with out the temptation of rounding up

  • cannon

  • this isnt the way the exercise is supposed to be played... and it sounds bad

  • yes this is REAL¡ oh , im sorry i was whit the speed in double

  • rubbish

  • garbage

  • awesome how fast you do it lol

  • @T0XXIN why hes a shit? because youre gay and jalous?

  • @falouchelo Because you can't spell and have terrible grammar?

  • @coreywilliamanderson im french canadian, do you have a problem whit that???

  • to all the people who dont play piano: please shut up

he is playing a exercise which EVERY piano player plays. it is NOT about playing beautiful, its only about how fast and strong your fingers hit the keys.

everyone who dislikes is obviously a retard

  • @Nimash f

  • "232 notes + 1 in the end = 233 notes in total!!"

    Man, you can do math!

  • Yawn...

  • It's not about playing fast, it's about playing beautiful.

  • Extremely nice.

  • Why is it a fail? It's exactly what the title said it was. Did you epic him to play something super epic and fast? That's not what the title says.

  • @MrJamjammers I agree completely. I epic'd him to play exactly what was played. A completely expected record breaking attempt/success. I don't know what these other guys were epic'ing, I thought the vid was pretty expected. Know what i'm sayin'?

  • He has no idea what music is...!!!!!!

Play the flight of the bumble bee PERFECT...then we'll talk about a record!!

  • @TheDavidefrani this video was not to show him playing music -.-''''' how can you say he has no idea...

  • horrible and any piano player can do that

  • wow...so surprised...

  • Make a glissando, if you wanna play a lot of note....

  • I hate you Hannon.

  • what a shame

  • hanon...

  • This is Hanon. btw

  • this is just one of the first exersises any 1 stuying piano learn this easily at begining

  • contento te

  • ur d biggest dumfuk on d planet!

  • Brahms exercise?

  • should upload this video to failblog instead

  • Hanon N.1

  • Czerny is rolling in his grave right now.

  • Since it's just a repeating pattern this really isn't that impressive, no offense.

  • shit !!!

  • made no sense... just sounded like a sped up beginner's song

  • go watch Art Tatum idiot

  • No way!!! 232 + 1 = 233!! I learn stuff everyday!

  • So you mean first time is normal then second time is faster?

  • search for the video: 'rick wakeman best solo ever' .

    go to minute 2:43

    get mind blown.

  • HA, you're an idiot. I hope this is supposed to be funny.

  • this is just hanon...

  • This is WANK!

  • Oh my, you have't ever seen some real pianist, don't you? Just find something maybe about Cziffra or Horowitz, Argerich and so on, because they play PIECES and much faster than you play this excersise. Sorry but i can't understand, how you can say "Piano speed record"..

  • look at jon schmidt play "all of me" then tell me this is record speed. *pff*

  • @TheNotkkk I've seen and heard people play faster than him.

  • Camman, my grandma can press that buttons faster-..-

  • well, if you do clusters, you will make like 42 notes per second :P

  • Mr I must have nothing else better to do with my time!!!!

  • it's a c major scale exercise. you can just basically run your hand up and down the piano in this exercise. try this in B major or something :)

  • HIgh five?

  • Ridicolo.

  • Ugh.

  • This is exercise no.1 in Hanon method book =/ Then sped up using software

  • @gillyguthrie Correct about the exercise but what makes you think it's sped up??

  • Man those are just scales. As a keyboard player, I gotta respect the talent to do scales like that, but its a very simple exercise. Good to build up speed and coordination, though far from insanity. Check out Rick Wakeman or Jordan Rudess for amazing keyboarding skills.

  • was bringt schnell wenns scheiße klingt???

  • That are the first exercise of Hanon isn't it?

  • crap

  • Rick Wakeman = way better.

  • And I respond with one name. Art Tatum.

  • These are Franz Liszt's finger dexterity exercises.

  • 0:49

  • actually you would have finished on 13 dipshit

  • Comment removed

  • ahahahhahahah......listen to cziffra to have a real speed record

  • crap video..

  • this is average speed.

  • This is a finger exercise... very easy to do quickly

  • Its not fast its only easy

  • Its a line up song not a sheet song.

  • Urks... Hanon erercices

  • my asian piano teacher would have had a heart attack from this much fail.

  • @117n00b2 She's asian. She'd get dissapointed listening to even Bethooven o.õ

  • @JoaoMarcosSouza2 she gets dissapointed from hearing me play it XD

  • @117n00b2 Better Than Expected LOL

  • are we learning math here?

  • oh c'mon I can play chopin minute waltz faster than this

  • AnnnnDDDDDDDDDD SOOOOOooooooooooooooooo????

  • What a bunch of crap.

  • Two words: Rick Wakeman.

  • Try out the mid thirty sections in your Hanon book, or the chromatic in 3rds in the mid section at that speed. That would really be impressive, but the first one gets a yawn.

  • We have ten fingers. I'm pretty sure we can all press our hands down twice a second, one finger on each note.

  • you mean 232+1 is 233? omg!

  • Hi Hanon, That's not the way to practice hanon! xD

  • HELL, I can drop my ass on the keys and played 30 notes in a factor of second
