  • GREEN? SINCE WHEN ARE THERE GREEN CRESTED GECKOS? NOT TRYIN TO BE RUDE BUT, ARE THERE REALY GREEN ONES, DUDE IF SO THATS A FRIGGIN RARE ONE THEN!

  • I am thinking about breeding Leopard Geckos.

If one of my females lays eggs, how would I care for them? Do I need an incubator to hatch them safely?

    Thanks!

  • @brandonashplant

Ok thank you. Where can I get one?

  • @MonsterHunterGirl98 ebay, amazon or any reptile website or even a local pet store or reptile expo/show!

  • @brandonashplant

    Thank you so much! :D

  • @MonsterHunterGirl98 you would provide a egg laying area in the tank. once the eggs are laid, carfully remove them (Dont turn them) and place them in moist, not wet, vericulte. you do need an incubator to hatch them safely.

  • he spooend it hahahah

  • i cant get to the website

  • Do you have a special big spoon just for your cresties? :L

  • Tcon 97 try feeding your little one pureed banana with a little calcium on top, sometimes because they eat such small amounts when young you might think its not eating when it actually is :) hope this helps

  • A female can hold a males sperm for upto around 12 months so once they mate you take the male out and the chances are youl get a couple of clutches from one mating

  • Hey what is a good breeding setup, both adult cresteds in an exo terra rainforest kit medium or like a platic bin thing? And do you know if it's possible to breed a dalmation and harlequin crested gecko together and get anything good?

  • @MrWaveshredder thats the cool thing about cresties...breed two morphs and you really have no idea what youre going to get

  • @MrWaveshredder you can breed any crestie with any crestie and get cool combos....thats the cool thing about them...but i wouldnt recomend keeping a male and female together all the time....he will mate with her...she will lay eggs...he will mate with her again...she will lay eggs...he will mate with her......you get the point. this is rough on the female. they need a break in order to build up the proper calcium reserves inorder to produce the eggs. 2 tanks allow a cooling period

  • why dont you use your hand to get him out

  • Go reptiles! Well that is way cute and i'm sure that it will turn out to be beautiful. She seems extreemly healthy as well with all that jumping! I hope she grows big and strong!

  • why don't you want to touch it?

  • @iSim0641 causes high stress and they have delicate skin that earlie on :)

  • Gekko ya prick

  • why a spoon? that beardie almost falled

  • @MrRay0n that was a gekko my dear...

  • @GlitterAndGlam6996 oww yeah lol to much beardie in my mindxD

  • @MrRay0n its a crestie not a beardie and falled isn't a word

  • I hate all of these idiot commentors that think they're experts on reptiles, fucking annoys me

  • i want one but with it jumping i'd be scared of it falling off me and dying D:

  • @lucci97 dw there real hardy, even tho they feel fragile there used to falling from trees, so it should be ok, if i get one im more worried about it jumping off me and running away :(

  • @lucci97 handle em sitting down. most animals you wouldnt want to fall any sort of distance on accident...the lower you are, the better off they are. these lil guys are pretty brave. they wanna jump they just seem to go for it. you can tell when they are going to jump though.

  • nice one

  • hey he likes you ^^

  • my crested gecko is 9 grams now =] what size tank for him or her?

  • hey buddy nice 1... hope it goes well... i subscribed plz sub back

  • hey i got a question can you hold a crested gecko its whole life( baby to adult) in a 18in by 18in by 24in tall- terrarium... thanks in advance.. please reply on my channel

  • can you keep crested geckos at room temp? thanks in advance

  • @JFMUFC26 Basically maybe a little blast with a hair dryer or something to boosdt the temp;

id suggest geting something to read how hot ur room is though just to be certain

  • how many eggs do they lay at once?

  • @SizzlinNinja Two.

  • OMG!! how freaking tiny and cute! where can I get a hatchling around Phoenix, Arizona?

  • its amazing how they can get on with life so quickly after hatching

  • that's cool how it could jump around already almost right after hatching like that.

  • good for u:) this is one species that could easily be saved by private captive breeding

  • its amazing how they can be able to jump around lie that just after there born. itmake you think whats more advanced us or them ? lol nice crested

  • For free leos reply moving in a week

  • where are you located?

  • how much for one?

  • will babies eat t rex diet

  • what happens if u touch him with your hands when hes still a baby

  • i think the oils on your skin will do somthing

  • thats only with amphibians. not trying to be an ass!

  • haha i wasn't sure whether it was amphibians or some lizards thanks for clearing it up :D

  • anytime! 8)

  • he was very active for a new hatchling just come out. cool vid

  • mine laid eggs in the tank i didnt notice until today 2 months later there okay when would tey be do

  • lol only just born and already jumping about

  • did your eggs have an indentation before they hatched? my first ones are at 64 days and one is starting to get an indentation. i've been keeping them at 76-77 dagrees if that helps.

  • was you hatching them in flour !?

  • I think that might be something like perlite.

  • or vermiculite

  • is it for some kind of a reason you takes it with the spoon and not your fingers?

  • he uses his fingers because it is a hatchling and is too young for be held with the hands (you know, he may hurt it) :)

  • Is it hard to breed them?

  • na its really easy

  • no more items you need are incubater60$ human baby food2$ ten gallon 11$ newspaper no substate is recomended this early

  • that's awesome........congratulations. that must have been a lot of hard work.

  • wow! thats awesome, its so cool that they alreaady know how to leap nd stuff, great vid 5/5

  • good thing he didnt fall that would of been sad cuz it probably would of died but its verry cute

  • one of the first breeders of crested geckos in the uk told me that crested geckos dont breed true say if you have two green parents they wont produce gren babys but that was like 12 years ago he was breeding them so i dunno bout now

  • Gratz on the baby and wow can they jump...cute!

  • how do you go about breeding cresteds

  • i love when i get little cresties like that..i just hate the eggs lol

  • Fast little thing! So cute, it's amazing how big they are when they come out of that small egg.

  • cute :)

  • congrats

  • there all red/brown whe hatched... and there is no true green pigment in a crested...

  • Yes, thanks for the info but common knowledge. There is a combination of pigments that will make a GREEN gecko. They cannot produce green pigment but they can have a green phenotype. Trust me I own several GREEN cresties.

  • can you post a vid of both of your green geckos? i would love to see them.

  • fuck birds reptiles are way cooler

  • teradactles are the best of both worlds

  • You pick the besssssssssssst of both worlds!!! sumit da da..la.................la

  • Do you mean pterodactyls?

  • no, I mean the other thing that you could confuse it with.

the rhetorical question is the dumbest invention since dumb was invented. you're not proving anything.

  • he meant a bearded dragon lol

  • @howtobebored I HATE BIRDS AS PETS!!! REPTILES FTW.

  • @howtobebored i think all animals are amazing
