@MonsterHunterGirl98 you would provide a egg laying area in the tank. once the eggs are laid, carfully remove them (Dont turn them) and place them in moist, not wet, vericulte. you do need an incubator to hatch them safely.
Tcon 97 try feeding your little one pureed banana with a little calcium on top, sometimes because they eat such small amounts when young you might think its not eating when it actually is :) hope this helps
A female can hold a males sperm for upto around 12 months so once they mate you take the male out and the chances are youl get a couple of clutches from one mating
Hey what is a good breeding setup, both adult cresteds in an exo terra rainforest kit medium or like a platic bin thing? And do you know if it's possible to breed a dalmation and harlequin crested gecko together and get anything good?
@MrWaveshredder you can breed any crestie with any crestie and get cool combos....thats the cool thing about them...but i wouldnt recomend keeping a male and female together all the time....he will mate with her...she will lay eggs...he will mate with her again...she will lay eggs...he will mate with her......you get the point. this is rough on the female. they need a break in order to build up the proper calcium reserves inorder to produce the eggs. 2 tanks allow a cooling period
Go reptiles! Well that is way cute and i'm sure that it will turn out to be beautiful. She seems extreemly healthy as well with all that jumping! I hope she grows big and strong!
@lucci97 dw there real hardy, even tho they feel fragile there used to falling from trees, so it should be ok, if i get one im more worried about it jumping off me and running away :(
@lucci97 handle em sitting down. most animals you wouldnt want to fall any sort of distance on accident...the lower you are, the better off they are. these lil guys are pretty brave. they wanna jump they just seem to go for it. you can tell when they are going to jump though.
hey i got a question can you hold a crested gecko its whole life( baby to adult) in a 18in by 18in by 24in tall- terrarium... thanks in advance.. please reply on my channel
did your eggs have an indentation before they hatched? my first ones are at 64 days and one is starting to get an indentation. i've been keeping them at 76-77 dagrees if that helps.
one of the first breeders of crested geckos in the uk told me that crested geckos dont breed true say if you have two green parents they wont produce gren babys but that was like 12 years ago he was breeding them so i dunno bout now
Yes, thanks for the info but common knowledge. There is a combination of pigments that will make a GREEN gecko. They cannot produce green pigment but they can have a green phenotype. Trust me I own several GREEN cresties.
GREEN? SINCE WHEN ARE THERE GREEN CRESTED GECKOS? NOT TRYIN TO BE RUDE BUT, ARE THERE REALY GREEN ONES, DUDE IF SO THATS A FRIGGIN RARE ONE THEN!

I am thinking about breeding Leopard Geckos.
If one of my females lays eggs, how would I care for them? Do I need an incubator to hatch them safely?
Thanks!
