Cool! Habe in meiner FAZ Sonntagszeitung einen begeisterten/begeisternden Artikel gelesen und bin jetzt neidisch, dass ich nicht beim Examenskonzert am 20.5. in Hannover sein kann. Fantastischer Musiker - dieser Mitschnitt ist schliesslich schon 6 Jahre alt!

a loving tribute from a star-performer = glory --levit has condensed the huge-loving fuge of reger's mozart orchestral variations into a valentine of easy technic perfection and never-easy emotional giving --only question: why reduce the inordinately difficult 2-pianos of reger to 1: until reger orchestral becomes standard fare in n america there's no hope for appreciation of such bonbons as this--PROGRAM REGER MOZART AND BEETHOVEN VARIATIONS and then the Hiller of course

I must say that I'm not very surprised =), he didn't make any wrong note, and there was just enough sensibility (Reger doesn't need too much sensibility : his Music speaks by itself, but remains Romantic anyway)! I don't know who won the first prize, but he must be bloody brilliant! Anyway, well done Igor and please, give us more Reger if you can !
