okay well i've been playing guitar for 3 years, and i thought i was pretty good but after watching this i am now interested not only this kind of music but i got back into playing my guitar again. you are an amazing player :)
Great production, I loved the different guitar parts. What is the chords you use in the modulation? You go from Bb to C, but I can't tell exactly what chords are in there. I'm assuming an F is involvedm but it looks like you start in D Major or D6. Please enlighten me. Thank you Sam for this fun romp.
lol, I like your modesty... I thought you were him when I first found you on utube, (no tats was the way I knew not so). the model sounds so sweet. thanks for another great song.
I love the sound of your Tele, but oh yay the Gretsch again (what model?). I love when you play this kind of music, jive... you could teach Setzer a thing or 2: )
Excellent playing Sam. You do Brian Setzer very well...even down to palming the pick on some of his others songs you have previously posted. That Gretsch sounds soooo good. Thanks again!
Thanks a lot for your work especially stray cats, rockab' and old rock'roll song or such others. It really help me to play some parts on my non-neglected gretsch ^^.
so, are u back from overseas? and, have some of ur vids been deleted? seems like it. guitar sounds "crunchy" as always. i can't get enuff. ur a gas man!
I have to tell you how much I appreciate all your hard work. I can see its a labor of love.
I have been playing for over 30 years, but the last 4-5 years its been rarely and unfulfilling. You have inspired me! Because of you I got back to the joy playing my guitar. Please dont dumb-down your lessons, there are lots of beginner videos out there but few intermediate-advanced ones like yours that show how to really play.
Mate, this was awesome, could you post a lesson this. The lead breaks are classic.which knobhead gave you the fail.......obviously he needs more than the fat finger perhaps a good seeing to by a disgruntled rockabilly idol
So awesome...He's in my top 5 ever, and you do it up!!!!!thanks for inspiring me to get off my butt and practice.(your videos have really helped me as a player).Your son is no slouch either!
Wow that is a great sounding guitar! Great job Sam!!!!! I always look forward to your videos. It seems I can always pick up a little trick here and there.
Don't know what the one down vote is all about, I haven't heard a bad cover from you, ever and this one's as good as the rest. I know you don't take requests, but maybe you could let us see what you can do with an Offspring cover?
Great presentation! I've been playing for about four decades, and don't think I've ever picked up new (to me) tunes as quickly as I have through your posts. Keep on pickin!
I wish I got a Gretsch... I would never neglect it!!
