  • years well spent, years well spent....

  • sound computarized if your not writting electronic music and try to mimic a orchestra i beleive your input method is a long way from perfect..dynamic range tremolo attack on note etc they all static

are you inputing every note in final with a mouse?

  • This is not the Serenade For Strings I watched a week ago..... Help please? This is really pretty........... wow!

  • Great piece. Sounds really good. Garritan really is a great library.

And by the way, what did you mean with "the strings are not real"? :)

  • I just meant that a real string orchestra is not playing the piece, it's just Garritan Personal Orchestra. (Though in a way they are real strings, because Garritan got them from real recordings, but they're still playing too perfectly to really be real.)

Anyway, many thanks for your comment! :-)

  • I know senerades are slow but what is their actual definition?

  • To express someone's love for someone. or like a newlyweds' piece. Somethin of that sort.

  • In the technical sense of the term, I believe "serenade" means a composition or performance in honor of someone else. These days, however, I believe it's a more subjective term. I called this piece a serenade more because of the nature and spirit of the piece, though it wasn't really in honor of anyone. Serenades don't even necessarily have to be slow or melodic, and there are a lot of serenades that, like symphonies, have multiple movements.

  • It sounds like Lord of the Rings at the very beginning! Beautiful piece - the strings sound slightly artificial, though.

  • 3:20...

    Coldplay, anyone? :P

    Nice little song, though...

What instruments are all the colours, by the way?

  • YH!!!! thats reallly true coldplay sort of!

  • Superb melody, really relaxing a nice to listen to :-)

The next thing I'll be doing is to check out your webpage and see if I find some scores I can play on a tuba :-D if not, then I'll just have to transpose :-)

  • Thanks!

Definitely feel free to transpose something! :-) Unfortunately when I do put up scores that have tuba parts, I'm afraid they'll be really boring... like just bass notes... :-( I definitely need to work on all my brass writing in general, really!

Thanks again for your kind words!

  • May you post more sheets of your music on your website, please?

  • Yes, I hope to as soon as I can... let me know if there are any particular scores you'd like to see more than others.

  • I would love to see the scores with a flute part...

  • I want to see the dragon of the music score.

  • I think you mean Dragon of the Mist... And if you do, I really want to see that one too. It's my all time favorite song from Wizardwalk. But I understand that it does have a lot of parts, so that would take a while.

  • Um....this is gonna sound really stupid for a second but.....what's a score?

  • sheet music

  • Thanks.

  • basically it's sheet music that has every instruments' parts.

  • I see. Thank you.

  • I love it.

    Thanks for composing and uploading!

  • Thanks! :-)
