Well first off, America Does have traditions. They are a mixture of all countries, hence the reason we are called "the great melting pot". If USA sucks so badly then why do so many of your people reside here? Do they move away from your country because ours "suks" so badly? Most nations take our ideas and tend to improve upon them (IE Japan's electronics, China's industrial power, Korean cartoon animation, Germany's love for David Hasselhoff). If you've ever lived outside of the US, you'd know there's HUGE difference in cultural roots. I describe US tradition as rather unstable. IMO, we only have two real holidays that belong strictly to the US, Independence Day and Thanksgiving. Where as around the world, there are numerous other holidays that are deeply rooted in a country's traditions and their culture.

There really is a very strong sense of National Pride, even in countries like N Korea, because of the roots of these nations.

I fully agree with you, but the fact is, you can't blame USA for being one of the youngest nations in the world. The fact that we haven't existed for a fraction of the time that Asian countries have says a lot and is more than enough reason for us to not be as deeply cultured as the other countries. Many of our history involves the starting of our nation, after that its all more recent times. As an aircraft engineer I believe its much easier to improve than to create. And that's from experience
