What's copyrighted is neither zombies, nor G.W. it's the idea of George Washington zombified and since ideas are nouns, they are valid for ownership.

Unless of course, you found some hole in the terms by calling it Zombie: George Washington, but letting you know. I'm done with mine. It will be up here soon. It's out on DVD. F.Y.I.

Secondly, you can't copyright George Washington because he is a real person, and I don't think zombies are your exclusive intellectual property either. I mean, unless I make money on this and directly used your exact plot device, I don't see this being a problem.
And thirdly, as far as your dvd goes... it sure didn't generate a lot of action on the internet, as I couldn't find any information about it.
