He's doing a MTS near the wall. It's very hard to describe. When you do a MTS near a wall, it's like your car sticks to the wall - this way you can slide very close to a wall without crashing. On some tracks you can do very tight turns this way. Here the MTS has the sole purpose to lose less speed. I think it also only works on loopings and twisted sections of a track. But I'm really no expert with this behaviour, that's roughly it.

Personally I think creators should make sequels with a game style for noobs and a game style for pros. Then make an online mode for noobs and an online mode for pros. That way all fans can enjoy the game.

He's doing the SHIFTBOOSTING(1)...and takes speed arrows on their side(2)..

(1)Go on the edge of the road and come back immediatly..you'll increase your speed..that's only one point of shiftboosting..

(2)You'll increase more if you take speed arrows on their side than taking them on their center
