I don't think you can "switch" stances. Stance is relative, so once you have a stance, you can still ride the other way (obviously) and it's called switch. So theres no "transition" he's gonna be doing in my opinion, he's just going to be riding switch all the time now.

There's not too many skaters that would put up with the trouble of learning to adopt a new stance. This is Rodney though, he invented too many tricks and contributed too much to say that he's done.
