I honestly cannot believe how amazing this song, and this composer is. I just discovered joe because of a short independent film for the Cannes Festival that used the theme from "Kids Return". I thought it was one of the catchiest and prettiest things I hear, lo and behold to find out he composed for Mayazaki movies. I now come back and realize that I watched all of those movies, but never really paid attention to the music. it's really different listening without any visual distractions.

When I was smaller, Spirited Away used to scare me to no end. but now that I'm old enough to see and appreciate the real story line, I'm quite happy to say that I firmly believe Spirited Away is the best movie of all time. People love twilight so much; Twilight is one girl trying to decide what boyfriend she wants, why do people love that crap so much? Spirited Away is about finding your inner strength and courage to fight for whats right. I wish more people saw things the was Miyazaki-sama does

Suuuuch a magical movie - Joe Hisaishi is a genious, as is Hiyao Miyazaki. The two are a match made in heaven :D I love his movies, but none of them were/are as beautiful as Spirited Away, in my opinion.
